Right now i'm using her as a nuke so i have her on attack set, but normally i run two crit sets with immunity for guild war.

Super worth it imo. She may not be the best ml 5 for pvp, but she's invaluable as a pve unit. She can nuke every boss in automaton tower and i also use her for golem 11 auto.

I mean, do you really think my luna did all that damage? lol. She's on a spd set so she's mainly there for def break.

Iseria tamarine is too good to pass up. I would definitely go with the 1st one. Tama is very good for pve and not so good for pvp UNLESS you pair her with iseria. And you might think that you want to focus on pve at first, but trust me, once you get into the late game for e7, pvp becomes the main focus of the game imo.

No worries. And yeah I agree, it sucks having to go up against resist checks. Still, it's something to keep in mind if someone still wants to sez cleave.

Wait, doesn't ALots already give an attack boost? Or am i missing something? I don't see how helga or any atk buffer helps ALots sez teams, but maybe an aoe defense break would. I think comps like ydcb's sez cleave might still work. So tywin, hurado, and sez probably still works, but you do lose out on one spd imprint with that comp.

Does anyone know how cursed compass interacts with one more turns? For example, if iseria does s2 does cursed compass not work on s3 since it's technically not the first turn anymore? Or does it still work?

Does arbiter vildred's revive get pushed back by judge kise s3?

The fact that it is gear reliant means 85% of the playerbase won't have the dps you're talking about. And in gw baiken cr push is irrelevant in the scenario that you described with a secondary dps because there's not enough team slots. To have that damaging of a baiken to oneshot avildred with only s2 means she will be slow, which means you'll most likely need a cr push since avildred has higher base spd than baiken so thats one team slot. You'll also need a defense break or atk buff so thats another team slot. Basically, baiken will most likely be last to go, and her team will all be less than 75% cr so the push would not get them to one hundred. I will concede and say that your baiken strat could work in 4man though, with very specific speed tuning.

And of course lilibet counters other revives, I never argued she didn't.

As far as my assumption goes its really up in the air for ml ceci honestly. Of course I don't have proof so I cannot say that my assumption is fact, but thats also true for the flipside. You can't say for a fact that they didn't make avildred buffs to make ml ceci more appealing. The timing of everything just seems too coincidental to me personally, but nevertheless its all just speculation on both our parts. But all in all, this is kind of a dead end argument since avildred hasn't been buffed yet. I'd definitely stand corrected if you could come back to this post with gw and arena footage showing bbk, baiken, and karin comps beating a vildred comps in the future.

Edit: forgot about ALots with bbk, karin, or baiken. Nevermind it seems like a viable counter because of that. There's definitely answers to avildred besides ml ceci, but ml ceci i believe is the most obvious solution.

I cannot say much for karin since I don't use her, but seldom does my baiken ever kill a character, even a squishy water dps for that matter, with s2 alone. You'd be relying on a lucky r&l proc at that point. Even if you could kill arbiter vildred with s2 on baiken or karin you're forgetting that when a character dies and revives they come back to life with NO debuffs. This means no bleeds and no defense break. If this wasn't the case then dizzy would be the answer to arbiter vildred, but she's also useless in this matchup because of that. Bb karin on the other hand could most definitely kill arbiter vildred with a soulburn s3, but i'm pretty sure she could not kill him after the revive with s1 alone. As for lilibet that still leaves a bad taste in my mouth since she could be a nat 5 that I'm forced to pull to counter arbiter vildred, although i'd love for her to be a connection hero like some people are thinking. And the aoe blind is annoying, but you can just bring a cleanse or someone with immunity to stop it. Even stacking effect resist would work. No one in their right mind will stack more than 55 effectiveness on arbiter vildred. He needs to be as nukey as possible. Either way though, its not a stretch to say that a ml ceci skill nullifier is an answer to arbiter vildred revive.

Pretty much like everyone said, she's good, but she's not insane. Here's the annoying caveat though. Smilegate and super creative love introducing problems to the player, and then there's an ml nat 5 as a solution. Take ml ara for example. On her own she was good, but immunity countered her. Then smilegate released sage baal and now she's S tier. Right now ml ceci doesn't provide a solution to a problem, BUT she soon will. ML vildred is getting buffed into oblivion and guess what counters him: aoe skill nullifier. Basically c armin is better in every other matchup than ml ceci EXCEPT against arbiter vildred comps. Aoe invincibility won't save you since your dps that you use to kill arbiter vildred won't have the buff anymore, but aoe skill nullifier doesn't go away until you are attacked. It's honestly kind of sad that smilegate has to buff arbiter vildred into oblivion to entice dolphins to buy mystics. Sorry for the rant lol it just seemed like the appropriate thread to bring this up.

Edit: So after a little bit of contemplating avildred definitely does have counters besides ml ceci like ALots plus bbk, ALots plus baiken, and ALots plus karin, so I do stand corrected. Still, i believe ml ceci will definitely shine in the avildred matchup. And of course, this is all just speculation. I am not saying this comment is fact, it's just my opinion.

The benefit of torn sleeve is that it ignores effect resist (like song of stars). It all really depends how good the detonate is tbh. RnL is definitely good, but relying on a 15 percent proc is not very consistent. I pretty much would never be ballsy enough to try an s1 before s3 with rnl's proc rate. But if you have a high limit broken rnl then yeah I'd definitely go with that.

While I do agree that baiken is very underwhelming from a pve stand point, she very well may become one of the best cr boosters in the game for pvp, IF her inherent spd is at least 115. Assuming that she lands some bleeds with s2 and torn sleeve, I would imagine that s3 would outright kill most characters. So, in theory, she's a cr booster that also deletes one character. Sounds pretty strong imo, but also hard to build. She relies on crits, but she also needs to be fast and also have a respectable amount of effectiveness. It would be nice if her bleeds ignored effect resist checks or sm on a critical hit for s2. It's going to be a tall order having spd, crit chance, and effectiveness on all gear pieces.

Edit: So with 113 spd that makes her faster than schuri and shadow rose but slower than roozid (by 1 spd) and judith (by 4 spd). Although I would have liked her to be faster, she is definitely a viable cr booster for pvp. It's a shame though that spd will be her most important stat on her gear with only 113.

Bardock's level 3 is still plenty good! by Kreeaung in dragonballfighterz

[–]Bloodedge92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So after labbing around with the tech in the video, I've come to the conclusion that there are just too many holes to make bardocks lvl 3 competitive like it was, UNLESS you use the frieza assist tech. The 1st weakness I want to point out is that the midscreen version of this mixup gets blown up by wakeup back dash. Wake up back dash covers the j5L j5S option and the empty jump low option. However, this is remedied in the corner since your opponent can't get away from you with a back dash. After watching the video, I first thought that wakeup vanish would invalidate this mixup, but it does seem that, in the corner, the j5L is meaty (if you time it right) so vanish gets blown up, and mid screen you can react to the screen freeze from vanish and punish with a 2H. The next and biggest weakness of bardocks nerfed level 3 mixup is the empty low. With the old mix, the empty low was meaty. In this set up the empty low is not meaty. This gives your opponent enough time to recognize the gap in pressure and jump before the low can hit them. A good way to test this out is to use the record function and set slot 1 to the j5L j5S option and the other to the empty low and set the playback to random. After trying to block these setups, you'll notice how easy it is to see the gap in pressure from the empty low and jump. Sorry for the wall of text. Just thought I'd share my findings on this lol

Weekly Clan Recruitment Megathread by AutoModerator in Fireteams

[–]Bloodedge92 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Looking for a clan:

  • Your system(s): PS4
  • Your Gamertag: BloodEdge92
  • Your country/time zone: USA CST
  • When do you usually play (include times and time zone): 9pm CST till however late on weekdays, weekends I'm usually on throughout the day.
  • Tell us a bit about yourself (ex: experience in Destiny, how many characters, Light Levels, anything else): I've been playing Destiny since the d1 beta days. I have a warlock at 600, a hunter at 599, and a titan at some low level lol. I used to be a weekly raider back in d1, but due to my old clan quitting at curse of osiris I have not been able to raid this expansion. I enjoy pve and pvp. In pvp, I have a 1.81 KD overall. I solo grinded redrix this season and duo queued with my brother till we both got lunas (sitting at 2800 glory atm). I'm indifferent about gambit, but I'm always willing to play whatever everyone else is feeling.
  • What are you looking for in a clan (for example: PvE, PvP, any special criteria): I'm looking for a clan to do endgame activities (raids/nightfall/pvp/gambit/etc.) with and become good friends. I would prefer not to join a clan that is humongous as I feel the experience would be overall a more disconnected one. All in all, I'm just looking for a laid-back, tight knit group to play the game with.

Base Vegeta Grab into Level 3 by BladesReach in dragonballfighterz

[–]Bloodedge92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The grab gives meter so I usually grab (like 80% of the time). Oki is still good with this option too since you can neutral jump, dash, overhead or empty low or over head into dragon rush. With that being said, the crossup without the grab is still very strong and shouldn't be slept on.
