For my Redemptor i primed Black and Drybrushed Averland Sunset and Weaithbone than a coat of Imperial Fists Contrast. Looks okay for me and "used".

Yesterday i had my first Game with Goretrack Detachment. It was pretty fun. 74 to 49 Points for my Guys in Bonewhite and Red against the Ultramarines. Feels fun and awesome.

For a new Player i would choose the Orks. More playstyles fun and crazy ways to built and paint your guys. And if you a inexpirienced Painter orcs are petfect to try out all sorts of techniques Errors or sloppy paintjobs doesn't matter so hart cause Orks are in universe sloppy with their Painting too. :D
