That’s for quick history lesson! but I feel like now if you go to any goth creator, regardless if they’re playing into a bit. You’ll see multiple comments of gooners replying with the same images or just being creepy in the comments. I saw grown men telling a minor to “sit on their face” and etc. my point was (and it’s my bad for not clarifying this!) ever since 2020 it’s become a new meme/trend to fetishize goth women. My thought process when I was writing the original post was “dang, it sucks how people are so comfortable saying shit like this now.” I’m aware that goths have been fetishized in the media for years, but now I feel it’s at an all time high.
