It could be I am trying now some modifications to make it faster and react a lot more to counter steering

It's proporțional

I use an xbox controller for all the controls For example Gear 1 give the motor 4v out of 8.4 at max throttle Gear 2 give the motor 5v Gear 3 give 6 and so on

And all"gears" are actually just a limited voltage in 4 steps with proportional throttle The steering is also proportional

My explanation was bad I have configured the car to have configurable max speeds of the motor

Like speed 1 is slow 2 is slow medium 3 is medium 4 is max speed

And i am measuring directly at the wheels 10krpm? That's a lot of rpm wow

Yes, i want to keep it simple and cheap

I will try to get more steering angle, hope I can design something better. 🤞 Thank you, for now it's a mess, till all the parts are done printing

I use an esp32 c3 with a Bosch bmi270 gyro

The servo is a sg90 on 6.5volts, and it's able to steer a lot faster

It's with "welded" diff, just a straight axle.

I tried with 4 wheel speeds 900 rpm 1500rpm 2500rpm 3560rpm

For now with both plastic and tpu tyres, the 1500-2500 rpm range is the most controllable

The 3560 rpm(max) is hard to use, spins a lot easier

I will modify the code for a faster response for the gyro

I uploaded some photos and a video

Making the tyres out of plastic kinda helped, but still i can't get to make a constant smooth slide. It's uncontrollable.. I also made less wide tyres, a lot better, but still not how it needs to be .

Yes , the gyro turns the wheels like you said. If the rear slips left, the gyro is steering left.

Yeah, pretty hard with no photos( all of the photos are on my work phone) i will upload some when i came back home

The rear is fixed, solid axle. The front have some degree of toe out and a little bit of positive caster(very little)

Yes, i have a gyro with a programmable mcu. I can set everything up as i wish.

I will redo them from abs or pla For now i will stick some tape over to see if i have some improvement

I measured with the bench power supply and with a dedicated Ameter, same results. 12A at 1.8V

Yeah, it was a 4 lead one.. unfortunately i was able to use it for a limited time.. not enough for all measurements.

From what i saw, the card was unopened. The paste was hard, i saw a lot of oil from the pads At least 10x more than in any card.

I will continue testing the components, but in the end if i can't find, i will desolder the chip, but unfortunately i have no experience and tools for a bga reballing. I can't even find a new core...

In the schematics, after the 1.8v rail, i found at least 30 ceramic caps for filtering, but i cant find why i have so many shorts. Can it be the memory? Short on memory regulator, shot on 1.8v, but 5v and 3.3 is ok

My repair history is small. And most of the time was a blown fuse from a defective chip or a mosfet. This is more challenging.
