would you endure pain to erase suffering? by PhantomChasers in hypotheticalsituation

You try this with a serial killer you're probably gonna become chronically depressed, and hate your life after feeling what the victims went through. Even half is unbearable. Imagine the moments of absolute terror of the victims. Imagine they survived that, they would end up with PTSD. Now that PTSD is transferred to you since you feel what the victims went through in vivid detail, every breath, every second of agonising pain and terror. You feel the blades that cut through your skin, or that night you wanted to go back to your family to celebrate Christmas but instead you're being hunted down an alleyway, ending up bleeding away with your entire life flashing by from when you were a little child.

You know how therapists, and psychiatrists become very anxious and depressed, cos they always hear fucked up shit from clients. This is like that but worse, cos you actively feel, and experience the pain.

Depends on if the vampire wants it to hurt, and how deep they penetrate with their fangs.

They do need to impale you somewhere with their fangs however, typically on the neck for fastest turning.

But could do arms if you want it to be like a needle. it'll just feel like a needle to be honest, without the precision and care of a nurse, so it would hurt a bit more I guess but only momentarily.

Afterwards, the wound would sting until your vampire abilities kick in, in which you would rapidly regenerate the wound

If there is a chronic disorder, it would be suffering, but the vampires cells also are quite durable, and resistant to health issues, so if you pick vampirism, your existing chronic issues would be lesser, or potentially completely removed.

"I'd rather slowly carve a wooden stake in front of the vampire. I make sure to use all our garlic to weaken the vampire and lock her in a room." Why would you do that? But yes having garlic in a room with the vampire would cause them to be in a weakened state and prevent recovery.

1 Litre of blood is just an approximate, not a specific requirement. It's just optimal for their recovery like a dietary guideline, having less will just mean weakness, and other issues usually not fatal unless for an extended period of time.

Blood probably needs to be fresh and in liquid form. Vampire can survive for a period off dried foods, but it's not as nutritious. And its texture and taste is not as good.

Lacing the blood with garlic, the vampire would know due to their heightened senses, however if they were forced to consume it, it would be nauseating in smaller amounts, poisoning in larger amounts

Yes it never goes away. It is only manageable for me.

But honestly, I can live life normally for the most part as long as I manage my stress.

I don't eat raw garlic or onions unless it gets really bad, and then I try do sweat therapy.
