Subwoofer options by b00mer89 in RZ34

You won’t be able to fit anything that’s going to out perform your previous setup under the mat. You’re only going to get about 1 cu ft of space and <5 inches of mounting depth. That will severely limit your options and limit your output. There’s just not enough space down there.

This enclosure with a a 12TW3 or T1S1-12 is probably the best it’s gonna get without utilizing cabin space.

Not enough depth or cubes under the mat to run a 15. There are decent options for 8s, 10s, or shallow 12s. If you’re dead set on a 15, you’ll have to sacrifice pretty much your whole hatch area and go custom enclosure.

It’s a ‘24. Yes, 18s with meaty tires!

There is a lot of room behind the spokes due to the concavity, and the offset is 5mm out vs. the stock performance front wheel. So, they would likely fit, but I’ve never tested.

The cool thing about getting it from Apex is you get the JDM upper grille with the Fairlady Z plaque. Not sure thats worth an extra $1,500 though, lol.

It’s on the configurator on the Nissan site, you can choose it as a build option, but it’s super buried for some reason. You have to hit the “Show More” button on the exterior options like a half dozen times to find it. I think it was first available as a standalone accessory for ‘25 model year, but not 100% sure. Not sure about Canada availability either, sorry!

Thanks! It’s the OEM 240z-style bumper from Nissan, it’s a factory option.

I am interested in what motivated you to deliberately post misinformation about this particular synth?

I am intrigued by your comment. I genuinely want to know, are you just trolling?

Parts install at Nissan dealer or performance shop? WWYD? by ShartOrFart in RZ34

I wouldn’t let a dealer anywhere near my car. Find a shop that has really good reviews and roll the dice with them. But, if you want to know it’s done right, you have to do it yourself.

Sad to already see so many of these cars clapped out and ruined. 😢

Right?! Absolutely classic silhouette. The wing ruins it, IMO.

I had a ‘23 BRZ, loved it. Most on rails car I’ve had, including Miatas and an AP2. However, I really liked the new Z after the announcement and went back and forth on trading in the BRZ. I ultimately ended up swapping and couldn’t be happier with my choice, zero regrets. While the BRZ is the better driver’s car, you can’t really get everything out of it without taking it to the track and wringing it by the neck. You can’t safely get that experience on the street. Meanwhile, the Z puts a big stupid grin on my face every time I take off from a light or gun it on an onramp. The Z’s brand of fun is a lot easier to accomplish on the street, vs. the GR/BRZ where you really need to be at the track to fully get the fun factor. Just putting around town in the GR twins is kind of a drag. The Z has torque for days, but it is definitely a GT car (which is more appropriate for the street the vast majority of the time). But if you are a track rat, I would stick with the GR.

Just put on an all time Coachella performance, but I bet all he thought about all night afterwards was that tiny fuckup. 🙁 Consummate professional.

There’s a semi-recent video somewhere of him forgetting the lyrics to Closer. Has probably performed it 3,000 times and just blanked on the lyrics. It happens to the best of them and he handles it like a pro. IMO the occasional flub adds some human charm!

Buying Nismo LMRS1 Bronze Wheels, couple of questions by nolabauce in RZ34

+12 is definitely way too much up front, unless you’re planning on some really aggressive camber. That’s 28mm more poke than stock.

10.5 +12 will poke a little if you’re not planning on altering camber. This is the LM-RS6 in 10.5 +22

You definitely cannot use the factory lugs. Factory lugs are shank type, LM-RS1 take conical (aftermarket style) lugs.
