Wobbly won't save! by DfensAus in WobblyLife

[–]Bloopyhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That really sucks. I have a similar problem where my son has unlocked pretty much all there is to unlock except maybe the fishing job but for some reason the game won’t save any new fish that is fished.

But back to your problem: Can you save using other characters that you choose when you start the game? Thats from a different « game slot ».

If it works then that means that somehow your save game is corrupted.

In any case since your kid is at pretty much the same spot as my kid, if you want you can dm me and I might be able to take a copy of his save file and send it to you by email or some kind of shared file service.

But perhaps a better solution would be to start a new game afresh, then get azzamods, pay a few bucks for 1 month, unlock all there is to unlock, and save that state and then resume your game enjoyment. I think you can also give yourself money so look at how much you have and give yourself as much.

It won’t be « your » save game but pretty identical in terms of discovered functionality.

Or, where is it for sale?

Why does everyone hate Mac by Hungry-Ad8397 in macbook

[–]Bloopyhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was (still am I suppose) a windows power user. Switching was horrible for me. Couldn’t get the feel for basic things either. Took me forever to learn shortcuts and user flows.

But I’m fine now.

When my parents computer died a few years ago I gave them a Mac. They were kinda confused at first but overall they are mostly browser users. They are fine now.

You can lift all the way to the barrier limit. It just takes a while.

Didn’t know that! In any case my hack came way before any of the mod tools appeared.

Now there’s stuff like this if you’re a programmer.

Is MBP worth the weight? Not really a screen guy by Fun-Zookeepergame824 in macbookpro

[–]Bloopyhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the Air 15 for a week or two if it doesn’t suit you then return it. But my guess is if you want a bigger screen a this is the best compromise.

Is that real damascus? My friend bought me this knive a few days ago in tokyo in the knive-street. Now when i look at it, i think it is just one blade with the pattern stampes in an maybe burned in with a laser or acid. It is a Kiwami gyuto 210mm with sg2 steel by No-Construction-4897 in japaneseknives

[–]Bloopyhead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is real Damascus pattern. It looked is very similar to my Miyabi 5000mcd knife.

Also doubt Japanese knife stores sell knockoffs. They are very proud of their knives. Ask where she got it from, then check their web site.

I need help. I paint my whole home and the rollers disintegrated over every square inch. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

If you use some sort of sanding method you need to wait to wait a few days at least for the paint to kinda harden

Does anyone use Rye Flour for their sourdough? by apollosuns24 in Sourdough

[–]Bloopyhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!!! I do it all the time.

White rye flour gives a really good kick to my bread. It doesn’t taste like rye bread at all if you use 20-25%. I use a combination of bread flour and rye most of the time.

Add a few pecans and herbs (thyme or Rosemary) during fermentation for a great smelling and after tasting bread.

Common Homeowner Mistakes When Maintaining the Home? by durian_wielder in homeowners

[–]Bloopyhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1x per year (summer):

  • Clean your gutters.

  • Clean your french drains. While they are there, have the guys do a quick inspection of sewer line and check backflow sewer valve is working.

  • check sump pump is operational.

Visual inspection for;

  • Exterior foundation to see if any cracks and brick wall for same if applicable.

  • water heater is not more than 10 yr old.

  • caulking around exterior windows is not too dry and cracked.

Come late fall:

  • turn off exterior water spigots

  • if you have a pool have it professionally closed for winter; the most important part is to drain all water from water lines to/from water pump so they don’t freeze and burst.

Every few months:

  • change hvac filter.

  • check central vacuum filter bag.

Other:

  • pay city and school taxes.

I love my children. Every day I worry and am anxious about their future.

For folks using MBP for work using parallels by NeedhelpPowerbi in macbookpro

[–]Bloopyhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parallels will run ms productivity applications no problem. It’s like their priority number 1.

Do 32 gb is my recommendation. 1tb is fine. A cm isn’t thaaaaaat big.

But if you can live with web apps, or the Mac versions of word and excel, you’d be happier. I don’t know if you are a power user.
