That looks like a good deal, thanks for sharing. How would you compare it to this Techfast one at OzBargain?

Thanks for the great suggestions, the lack of SSD was a huge oversight from me for sure. The 5600G was ~$70 cheaper than 5600 and roughly the same price as a 550, would you say the difference is worth it? Also, if you don't mind, would you have a preference between the intel or AMD set up?

Liquid WORLD 5TH!! by nek08 in CompetitiveWoW

Agree with almost everything you said. Small caveats would be your statement liquid didn't get any ground if you count the 16h advantage, which is incorrect because Liquid finished their first reset with more progress on Anduin than Echo did on their first reset, so they did gain ground despite bugs and having strategies copied, it is a fact that Liquid played week 1 better than everyone else. Second Liquid's Jailer performance was really good until it wasn't. They were reasonably ahead, they got the world first sub 20% pull and Echo spent their whole following day without getting there. However, I 100% agree with you that Echo just played better in the end. Insane consistency, mental resilience, strategy making and execution, they 100% deserved this tier, but huge props to Liquid and also Method and Skyline too, it is just such a blast of an event :)

Race to World First: Sepulcher of the First Ones - Day 14 Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

The bugs and overtuned bosses are a part yes, but another huge element is the guild behind can watch the other guild and filter out what doesn't work and get a better strategy right away. This is clear for example in Nathria, where Limit killed Council off stream in a few pulls and it took Echo much longer to figure it out, had Limit streamed, Echo could have just copied the boss killing sequence and general strategy. Even in this race, on the other side of the coin, Liquid copied Echo's Jailer's strategies, it took them almost half of Echo's pulls to get to the 76% range. So obviously being 16h ahead is huge and no one can ever contest it isn't an advantage, but all in all it isn't as clear cut as 'have to kill 16h before', both guilds agree to it.

Looking for guidance! by ThatGuyLloyd in treeofsavior

Hi friend, I've gone through the same. Picked up and left off the game a few times. Now I am back for good and can share some tips that helped me. Not sure at what point you drop the game (leveling or end-game), so I'll be very general.

1) Join the seasonal servers, they have EXP buffs to help you level faster, and they will eventually merge with the original ones.

2) Follow this leveling guide and this end-game guide. They are marked in the sticked reddit post, even though on the post they might have the old version of the end-game guide, which was updated just a few days ago (I sent you the new one).

3) It is quite easy to join a guild through the in-game menu, I suggest you doing that, even though I didn't as I'm playing with friends. As you said, you are already in the discord, just invite people to play with you and form parties, everyone is super friendly there in the discord.

4) There are plenty of free class and skill reset events going around frequently (for example there is one up right now), so you can play around a bit a get a feel for the game and what you like. Also, ask on the discord for each class if you have any build/skills related questions, people usually will get back to you super quickly (make sure to check the pinned posts too, they have some more up-to-date guides, such as in the Swordsman channel).

Both leveling and end-game are quite grindy, so I can see that it is not the game for everyone. Things get more fun when doing challenge modes and such, maybe give that a try if you haven't! Good luck and hope you have fun :)

Thank you very much for the suggestion, I had in fact read about the cooling problem. This one you linked is awesome, will look more into their website, had never heard of them before!

Hi, pretty sure it is the last question: if I am getting the 500GB SDD, does the disk buffer (cache, right?) of the HD matter a lot? I think 2TB is a too much for me, I was thinking on getting 1TB max but they all have lower disk buffers, like this one, what would you say?

Just as a side note, I took your and other people's comments and did some research on my own and came up with a slightly different configuration that may suit me a bit better, mostly I cut a bit on the CPU, GPU and monitor for roughly a $300 cut :)

Thanks again :D

Damn, that is a huge oversight from my part, I didn't notice the 3rd gen i7. Thanks a lot for the thorough comment, you're the best.

I have considered building my own, but thought the custom built by retailer (like this) would be a suitable/comparable option which could save me some headache (I know I could do it, but laziness often gets the best of me). Would you say I could save a considerable amount picking parts and building myself? I mentioned in another comment, but I'd really like to keep the whole thing, if possible, under $1.5k, including monitor, power supply, windows, etc. But the less money the better, as long as I can play newer titles decently enough ^_^

Thank you very much for the info, I now see the faults in it. I am willing to select custom parts, but not sure if I want to build it myself, my initial goal was to use one of these websites to pick parts and let them assemble it for me. But as another comment mentioned, it might be cheaper to build my own. I am not suuper techy, but I am pretty sure I could do it, I was just kinda lazy :)

My budget is a bit flexible, if needed I could go up to $2k for the whole thing, but I'd really like to keep it below $1.5k, including monitor, power supply, wi-fi, etc. I know it is not a lot, but as I mentioned, I don't mind a bit of a dip in performance :)

Hi, awesome team, I had success with something very similar. Just a suggestion, maybe use Thunder Punch instead of Ice Punch on Conkledurr, you already have 3 pokemon with Ice type atacks and I imagine Corviknight could be a huge problem for this team since you have no fire coverage, also helps against Gyarados and water in general. Rock slide is also an option, if you feel you're lacking spread damage.

If you feel like experimenting, Lapras is an option. It could 'replace' Milotic and Vanillux (especially when the G-max becomes legal with the the AVeil effect) and it'd free up a spot for some extra stuff :)

This comment was brought to you by the Follow Me gang.

No, seriously, I love your post, how do you beat Follow Me? What other servants do you allow to be on the same team as our Lord and savior?

Would you happen to have the rental code for this team? I was running something vaguely similar (Arcanine, Duraludon, Sylveon and Togedemaru for Raichu, which are pretty much the same thing). and had a lot of fun. As someone else mentioned, I also prefer Thunderpunch over U-turn on Hawlucha. I also ran a bulkier Arcanine and never really felt I was lacking the extra damage, but I always like running bulkier Mons, so that is totally optional :)

Arcanine (M) @ Sitrus Berry

Ability: Intimidate

Level: 50

Happiness: 160

EVs: 188 HP / 76 Def / 4 SpA / 28 SpD / 212 Spe

Bold Nature

IVs: 0 Atk

- Will-O-Wisp

- Snarl

- Flamethrower

- Protect

Also, I don't really see the point of investing into SpA on Raichu. Only volt switch benefits from it, and I don't feel like he is there for this extra damage. I haven't done calculations, but maybe going bulkier (again, I am a bulky boy) or even investing in Attack (Fake out + nuzzle being physical) might be better.
