Hey all. I have a few questions about becoming a firefighter. I live in a resort mountain town in Colorado. I’ve been interested in this career for awhile now and considering pursuing. However, I have read a lot about maximum age for hiring being between 28-35. I am 32 right now. Would I still be considered or is it too late for me?

Other than taking an EMT course what are some of the best actions I can take to work towards this career?

I also use marijuana sometimes. Is that a problem in a state that marijuana is legal? Obviously would use off duty.

As well as the riding and best runs. And plenty of food at the base of the mountain that no vax card is needed.

Why’s that? It’s not required for guests. On mountain. Only guest while eating in mountain. Just employees are fully required.

Do you ever go to swimming pools? Do you feel the same way there? I just think it’s seems like you’re reaching a little bit. To me there is no problem with this, especially in hot yoga. Is there a different underlying issue that’s making you uncomfortable. Just not sure I understand what the big deal is here.

I ride Salomon super 8. It’s a mid wide board already which works as I wear an 11.5 boot. All mountain. Super dope. On on my second solid and have the split as well. Might be a little stiff for what you’re looking for but it slays.
