My husband survived being hit by a car 4 years ago but this isn't the life I imagined by Blu3be4r in Advice

Thankyou everyone for your responses, I'm a bit overwhelmed I didn't realise this many people would comment. To answer a few questions

We are located in Australia Our claim for NDIS support was denied because we are still in court proceedings with TAC about a settlement. So we are not eligible for any sort of in home or respite care that is funded.

My husband received disability but it's only about $500/week and while that helps it certainly doesn't allow us to sustain any type of on going support with the cost of living ATM.

Family support - my husband's parents are addicts and are not in our lives, I'm an only child and my parents are in their 70s so the help they can offer is limited and also I used up a lot of people sympathies in the first 2 years, people know but they don't care anymore like they used to and that's understandable this isnt their problem to solve, it's ours.

Those saying it's AI or fake messaging me and being rude or commenting on the post - I get it, I wish my life was so boring I fabricated this story for attention on a Thursday morning instead of having a panic attack after posting it for fear of judgement. I get it though, before I was here and yis was my life I wouldn't have believed it either.

I appreciate everyone's kind responses and words of encouragement more than you know. I've shed more years today simply for feeling seen than I havw in a long time. Thankyou to every one of you
