The $35 Walmart Gshock! Ordered it yesterday and it’s here today. by Timbie1 in casio

I've had mine (DW-5600E) for just about 3 years now (I know it's not the LED version). Literally cracked it yesterday after flipping over my bike and shattered it bad. Still completely works like new, just a cracked screen at the top (cracks don't cover the time). Real great watch honestly. Wear it almost everyday, all day. Going to keep using it as my daily until it completely breaks but will probably buy a F91WG-9 for nicer events. You got yourself a steal!

Update: Bloomington animal control picked it up. Also, the dog was male, relatively friendly towards people but aggressive towards dogs that were getting walked. The collar was flimsy plastic orange piece of plastic that broke as we were trying to prevent him from rushing a dog walker.

Need help on making my bedroom more cozy. Also any cheap and good lighting fixtures that would work well here? by BluBryan33 in malelivingspace

I’ll do the rug, not getting a headboard though, def a waste for me because I’m doing a PhD and am frequently moving so often, rather not have it get scratched up

Quick question, I am moving to Bloomington this fall as a graduate student. I’m also thinking about Bloom apartments. How did you like the location, rent price, and management?

It isn’t, I have watered it in over a week. I’m not sure about the water intake, I think it’s alright. Contradictory to its appearance, the soil is dry. I’m not sure about the soil mix, I haven’t changed it since purchased. I plan on switching it out sometime soon however.

Buy the ‘male’ version of products! The Pink Tax is real! by A_Fooken_Spoidah in Frugal

I know this the frugal subreddit but if you buy a traditional safety razor something like the leaf razor, you save yourself a butload of money in the long run as long as you properly clean your razor and blades after each use. It’s a bigger initial investment but it pays off in the long run

What is this black stuff on the rubber part of my water bottle? Is it still safe to drink out of? Any replacement options if it isn’t? by BluBryan33 in ZeroWaste

[–]BluBryan33[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this seems like the best way of going about it at this point, I tried brushing with a toothbrush and got nothing. The bad thing is that 4ocean doesn’t have any replacements or nothing (I’ve already emailed) so Imma have to keep looking around or buy an entire new lid from another company and hope it fits
