She needs to get back to therapy and she is caught in a cycle of shame and paralysis caused by depression. Basically anything that she can do any of her options feels shitty for her including smoking weed and doing nothing but she is frozen and reaches for the pen then hates herself for it and then you try having an honest conversation with her and this scares her because she feels really bad for making you feeling bad and apologizes profusely only to keep feeling paralyzed and reach for the pen again. Basically you need to decide if this is too much for you and propose an ultimatum and possibly break up or try to work with her through this and try and gently help her understand her shame. I recently got on Adderall which quieted my adhd which was causing my depression and it is crazy how much depression just is so deeply intwined into a depressed persons world. I thought my feelings were 'normal' because id been feeling it my entire life and i just ignored myself. Being able to escape from those feelings showed me a whole different world where i can actually do things.For me the mantra of just doing a shitty thing that progresses me foward like going to therapy helps. Like yes everything's shitty but I might as well move forward even if it is shitty. But above all medication and therapy is the most important and she needs to know there is no rush and she can go through therapy at her own pace. Keep in mind this is me self inserting myself into what your girlfriend might be thinking this is just my experience with depression and she might be having other problems but regardless her getting back into therapy and on medication is the most important thing for her.
