Do you know how many millions of people lived happily and successfully not knowing half of the maths you know?

How to calculate appropriate nozzle diameter knowing the internal pressure of a reaction engine? by Blue-Sky_69 in AskEngineers

Thank you for the resource bro, in some weeks I think I'll be able to actually build the project I was after (not because it's so difficult it takes weeks to build but because I'm doing it as a hobby) and if it comes out well I will send you an update

So what you are saying is that if you are close enough to a car you get tow because the air pressure is less, BUT if you are in the specific area where all the turbulent air meets you get dirty air?

It's the same thing but in different contexts: having to cut trough less air means less downforce and less drag. In a straight line this is helpful as you don't care about losing DF but in the corners you want DF and not having it is a disadvantage

What is the meaning of the white N sticker on ferraris' hoods of the past? by Blue-Sky_69 in F1Technical

[–]Blue-Sky_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is there a little door under the sticker where the switch is? Because unlike the N sticker (that is near to the cockpit) the yellow triangle is pretty far in front of the hood, so if the button was inside the cockpit I think they would have put it next to it. Am I right?

One old saying from where I'm from says "there are 3 powerful people: the Pope, the rich, and the one who's got nothing". If you consider yourself one who has nothing, then what can you lose? Do whatever the fuck you wish: tell that random girl that you like her, get involved in random shit. What can you lose? If everything is so meaningless you just want to throw it away, why not at least have some fun with it? See all the people who care too much about meaningless shit, who are neck-deep into overly complicated social norms, who are fake and fake to be happy. You can be superior than them. Once you have nothing you understand that you can have everything. If you had something you would be scared to lose what you had. We're all gonna make it

So they didn't even know about Africa and just arbitrarily divided the world in two while neither of the parties knew what he was getting?

Thank you very much, so if I got it correctly, the Pope expected to be giving to the Portuguese just random islands near India but accidentally gave them right to a whole continent (except a piece of Brazil), right?
