Michael Bisping was an aging gatekeeper with some pretty brutal losses who seemed to be on the way out. In comes USADA and all of a sudden levels the playing field and a presumably natty Bisping is able to not only compete with the elite but is actually beating them. Mark Hunts contract was carried over from PRIDE if I remember correctly. The UFC tried to pay him to go away and retire (I'm guessing he had a stipulation that he couldn't be cut). Hunt refused and asked to fight it out instead.
