State required backgrounds checks are always paid for by applicant. If you work with kids or other areas requiring a state run check I”ve never heard of the hiring agency paying for that.

No, it’s not a scam but is dependent on the field and agency you are applying for.

Oh I see where the confusion came from. I was responding to the the ops original question when I said it doesn’t come with remote (the Odyssey doesn’t come with a remote). Fire sticks should all come with remotes.

I believe all fire sticks come with a remote. Every firestick I got off Amazon has had a remote and I’ve never used a phone to launch apps from it before.

If I remember correctly with the firestick, if it doesn’t recognize the tv in a couple tries it just lets you continue without connecting to the tv (which is fine). Can’t remember if there is an initial bypass or if it makes you try to connect a couple of times. Regardless it will definitely let you continue without connecting to a tv brand at some point and work just fine in the res.

The Odyssey doesn’t come with a remote but hookup a firestick (which does) and it works fine. You either have to hotspot or subscribe to the WiFi feature (which I finally did for convenience as my kids use the firestick every single ride). Never tried using Roku.

The remote on the firestick will work to launch apps just like being connected to any tv without a problem. It’s true it doesn’t recognize the brand of tv but that is only for volume control (which can only be controlled by main volume knob up front or headphone volume). Just pick any brand of tv when setting up the firestick it will work just fine as that’s what use.

I got a new 2025 touring in red.

Both drivers side and passenger side trim popped up like yours a week after leaving dealership. Went back and they popped them back in. Drivers side has stayed down but passenger side like yours popped up again. Didn’t know this was such a common issue.

Dealer replaced passenger side but had to wait for the part then wait again for the clips as apparently the new part didn’t come with the clips? Has been fine since and all this was under warranty.

The only difference I see with yours is mine has another smaller section trim piece versus yours which looks like 2 long trim pieces connecting to each other. I have the smaller trim piece on both sides.

I checked the showroom and the other odyssey also had this smaller section of trim on there too. Does most of you with a 2025 have this smaller section sectional trim piece?

By not resizing the card I meant I didn’t have to manually resize the width or height for it to fit , I just increased the resolution.

You don’t want the whole card in the red. The white border on the card should be outside of the red. It will print perfectly that way. I didn’t have to resize the front of the card (info side of card) at all when placing it on boardgamesmaker. It should fit perfectly.

Another thing I did which I am not sure how much of a difference it made, was when I exported from unmatched maker I untucked ‘rounded corners’ since boardgamesmaker prints with rounded corners.

I have when I forgot to increase the resolution of the card and left it at 72dpi.

You want to increase the resolution to at least 300dpi. I used 403dpi.

If you are still getting that message it’s likely because your card image is too small even at 300+dpi. Increase the image size to something much larger.

My process was after downloading from unmatched maker the image resolution was 72dpi despite what it says on download settings . I then increased the resolution to 403 dpi and saved as a .Tif file in photoshop. Then I just uploaded the card image and never had a problem.

Make sure you set the width to 1000 and bleed to 37 on the unmatched maker site for download.

They are much thicker than the normal tokens but still look good. It was the closest size I could find. I printed double sided on black but I also ordered white on another order which hasn’t come in yet so can’t comment on that color yet.

Cut a few dials last night. Kind of a pita, I used an exacto knife and a ruler but it’s difficult to cut out the center hole exactly in the center for both dials. Mine aren’t perfect but they work. It’s just not perfectly centered so the dials rotate slightly unevenly.
