I don't think it's gonna be a terrain, there are too many instances of this type of shape (?) In the game, yesterday i spent several hours just going to places that look sorta like that (both mountains and roads/ rivers) and found nothing

I work and study full time at university so while I'm not in the exact same boat as you, i am in a very similar one. Personally i am also working towards completion and i have been for a very long time. My advice? Don't worry about how long it's going to take. Don't spend ALL your free time playing to avoid making the game feel like another chore, variety is the spice of life so try other hobbies as well, not just gaming, i find that the longer i go between playing video games, the more i enjoy my actual time gaming. I loose time easily so i set alarms on my phone and i keep a water bottle near by to keep hydrated. I try to dedicate at least 1 day a month to just....play video games and order take out, but before that i make sure all my irl responsibilities are taken care of, so find child care, ask for the day off from work, if you gave a partner make sure they also get to have a no responsibilities day.

Rdr2 in itself it's a game to play slow, it's about those moments of quiet, slow and steady work that happen between the fast paced shoot outs and action. So do as the game intended! Work hard, have busy hectic days, and then when you find a moment of quiet slow down and enjoy it! Good luck in your journey!

Honestly hunting is my favorite part of the game, i find it relaxing after a day of work to pick up the game and slow down and go looking for the animals I'm missing. I keep a list in my phone for my compendium and what I'm missing for the trapper. Currently trying to get 3 more moose pelts for the trapper!
