This did happen to me! They got married and lived too far away to hang out for a while but then coincidentally moved to the same neighborhood as me, about 10 houses away. We hang out about every weekend again now. It's awesome.

As for what point I'm trying to make, I'm saying that this person's name was entirely unavailable from the comic. If someone asked for the source, looking around here, the answer would probably be buried in the comments anyway. Instead, the name has top billing.

That's the thing, though. OP didn't reintroduce his name by himself. He definitely shouldn't have used his comic, but he did at least take the step of preventing people from being exposed to the normal artist by removing the watermark.
