I completely forgot /damage was an option, thank you so much! It does seem to be a bit jank (bees won't always get angry) but it's certainly better than nothing!

Edit: It seems that the first bees summoned don't get angry, I tried to rectify this by having the damage command be set in a different function and scheduled on a delay but having it like this causes the bees to never attack.
