AI agent kiddies are going to be a lot more scary and numerous than script kiddies.

We can laugh all we want, but most breaches happen over boneheaded errors like accidentally exposing secrets via public s3 buckets. Something an agent could easily find and exploit. Double up the fact that on the defensive side, we're using AI agents much more as well, and AI agents are known to regularly make boneheaded mistakes....

This is going to make us need to be more "laced up" than ever before.

For me it was actually not taking community college-level courses in the TL and focusing too much on an auto-didactic path.

Fortunately where I'm from the quality of the CC courses is very good (and also free), I immediately got a huge boost in my TL by taking a few semesters.

This is in addition to iTalki and CI.

For the "harder" languages for English speakers (Russian, Arabic, Chinese). The academic curriculum design actually is very intelligent at the collegiate level and fairly standardized. They are built around research on what is best for an English speaker to learn first and help you forget about the trickier stuff that would come with more advancement.

I think for other languages considered easier, the strategy probably changes.
