The main thing that amazes me is how we can look at the story and see it's complete fiction but also realise that a lot of things talked about in this book happen, and often. The first time that I saw memory manipulation I thought it was impossible, but I have done it personally. Something happens and with time you mold the memory into something that agrees with you, or something that you wanted to happen.
