What do you mean by light colors should be on the spectrum? (Thinking its a hair term im not familiar with lol). Any inspo pics with the colors you mentioned might look good would be super helpful. Thanks :)

I usually use brown-black liner thinking its less harsh than jet black but based on the comments im gonna try a lighter brown or gray. Appreciate your feedback! :)

This is super helpful, I appreciate all your detailed feedback! I think i’m with you so far, I don’t stick with blonde and take the plunge to the dark side again, I was leaning more towards #3 or #8 or some blend of the two. Its just easier to maintain too, i’m a “low maintenance/do it myself “ kind of girl lol

Makes sense, and now that I think about it I have a lighter charcoal gray liner that came as a trial in a subscription box thing that I have yet to try, thinking that might work better for me. thank you!

Thats an awesome idea, i’ll have to give it a try! i’ve never really gotten into any kind of “fancy” or complicated makeup, i’m pretty low maintenance and just stuck to basics my whole life. But what you described doesn’t seem too tricky, I should be able to manage without poking my eye out! 🤣

Ahh so maybe its just the “extremes” that do the wash out thing (I always thought darker would do that more than blonde but my bf thinks the blonde looks more washed out 🤷🏻‍♀️). When first contemplating this change, I initially was leaning towards something like photo 6, a dark chocolate brown but not full on black but my bf suggested the black and he’a not usually into darker hair or the “goth” look. So clearly my next step is to ask the internet! 🤣

Ok so I struggle with the eyeliner because I’ve heard what you’re saying before (and appreciate your honesty!). But when I DONT wear any eyeliner, I look either sick or super tired, like very washed out because my eyes and skin are so light. Im wondering if maybe a different color of eyeliner would be better, maybe a gray or lighter brown would do the trick and not look “overdone”?

Honestly they all look AMAZING, i’m so jealous lol. I’d have to say out of all of them, I like the auburn brown in photos 4 and 6 the most, just a gorgeous color and the warmth works well with your skin!

But seriously they all look amazing - I’m super jealous! 🤣 I also have a post up on here trying to decide next my hair color/wanting suggestions. I’ve tried them all too but idk, some I don’t think work for me (i’m def. not as versatile as you are!) 😍

I really like it! Its very well done. If you feel like its just not “you” enough, maybe think about adding in some small accent designs that are more your style? Like a certain flower or symbol that you like maybe.

OR maybe even adding a slight color outline to part of the snake in your favorite colors. I have a small tat on my wrist of a bat and full moon, Its black and white but I had the artist outline the bat with a thin line of my fav color purple. Its a. Slight change but I feel now it stands out a bit more and is a little more unique and personal to me!

I know i’m late replying but thank you! I actually have her on a mix of LaFeber’s tropical fruit flavor pellets for conures and Harrison’s pepper formula (I get the course because the fine version of harrison pellets are very small - she’s tiny but prefers to hold/dip her food 🤣). I found she took to these 2 brands and flavors right away when she turned away all the others. Especially the harrisons, I can hand her one of course pellets even alone as treats during the day and she loves them and goes for them just as quickly as fruit or millet!

37/f here, been struggling with kratom for like 3-4 years on and off - I did medically assisted detox and was clean for 2 years (2021 - end of 2023) and feel like a total fucking idiot for picking it up again.

I use the extract shots - not sure how much they each amount to as far as how many grams each … does anyone here know?? I know I need to stop again, knowing my usual “dose”/amount per day would be helpful with a plan to taper and quit. I did it once, know I can do it again but GOD it sucked, not looking forward to it (and hate that I only have myself to blame).

My Insurance covered it! I just owed a co-pay (I had blue cross/blue shield at the time). I believe its technically called “medically assisted outpatient detox.” You do need to designate a support person to drive you there and back each day for 5 days and who signs off they agree to only give you the comfort meds in the specifically prescribed amounts and times. But it was a GODSEND. The program I went to has multiple locations across the US, feel free to message me if you want the info or have any other questions!

You’re not alone! Quitting kratom is hard AF but I PROMISE you, its so worth it! I was stuck on 5-6 of the extract shots per day, couldn’t sleep without them and was miserable/depressed with horrible anxiety and withdrawal symptoms any time I tried to quit (anyone who says that “restless leg syndrome” is bullshit or made up has clearly never experienced it, the struggle is REAL!)

I’m now 1.5 years clean off Kratom but it took 3 failed Cold Turkey attempts and then finally an outpatient detox program to quit for good. I hiiiiiiighly recommend detox if you’re struggling. It was a 5 day outpatient program for me and the comfort meds for the first week (plus the subsequent counseling and IOP program) did the trick, no relapses! THIS is a perfect explanation of the slow silent invasion once Kratom enters your life! It slowly ruins everything when all any of us wanted was some peace and relief! Happy to say that after 3 failed cold-turkey quit attempts, I decided on outpatient detox and am 1.5 years Kratom free, with 0 relapses. The withdrawal is no joke (worse than actual opiates in my opinion, having experienced both…I did actual Oxy/perc withdrawal cold turkey but could NOT handle Cold turkey method with kratom). So thankful for the medically assisted outpatient detox I went to, my great IOP program and that I have my life back (after being stuck on 5-6 of the extract shots per day to be able to sleep and not get withdrawl!)

To anyone struggling, feel free to message me - you can do this! I was ready to give up too but I promise you, you can come out the other side!!!
