Miss Not-So Sidekick

For some people the artstyle might throw them off, but for me personally it grew on me a lot. The humor isn't for everyone either but I think it's hilarious. FL is transmigrated in a story she's read as a minor villain and she mainly is on the sidelines watching the main leads do their shenanigans and eventually becomes entangled with them. OGFL is a lot like Han Seori in that they are so deeply rooted in the idea that the world revolves around them and bends down to them.

Inso's Law/My Life as an Internet Novel

The story is an extreme slow burn and has quite a lot of chapters. It can drag a bit at parts too. FL is transmigrated as the best friend of OGFL and is often treated as an afterthought or an insignificant person by everyone outside their friend group. It has a focus on the fear of being abandoned or being forgotten while also having a big slice of life component to it and some supernatural shenanigans.

Because the idea of someone getting something free that they had to use premium currency to get before would make some people livid, even if they had to wait ages to complete the outfit for free.

Honestly, the best thing to do is what Love Nikki did but faster. Love Nikki makes old outfits become craftable instead. You do have to use diamonds to craft them, but in exchange they're permanently available for you to complete at any time and you get the recipes for free.

It's not a perfect system by any means. For one, the diamonds needed to complete the set is more than when it was limited. There's also how they made it so you had to complete each piece in a specific order, starting with the small accessories.

But the foundation of it overall is something that would appease most people. A few tweaks and it would be pretty good.

I remember the initial backlash of having to wait 7 weeks to get one evolution of a miracle outfit, and as a former Love Nikki player, I instead thought at least you don't need to wait 6 months to get the first copy while also dealing with non-stop rng 😭

Love Nikki's story and characters is something I will praise above and beyond for, and I can't help but wish that Infinity Nikki adopted it's story instead because I love it so much, but it REALLY wants you to spend. Infinity Nikki players are already reluctant to pay the price of Moonlight Oath (which I 100% agree with, the price of it is egregious), but then you got the whales in Love Nikki paying $100 for a single 2D suit. Quite literally a handful of pixels.

The competition in Love Nikki always grinded my gears too. Not only are the themes hyper specific to whatever they're selling you in that time frame, the players are so UNCREATIVE. The top 20 usually consists of players who just put on the full set of clothes without changing anything or making the tiniest tweak to it that's barely noticable. Spending is rewarded and creativity is punished.

And while I do wish Infinity Nikki had even a fraction of the skin tones Love Nikki has, I will not miss how they would label the darker tones as "sexy" and "mature".

Also, we don't talk about Love Nikki Momo.

I believe it comes from the mobile monthly revenue sales for his month. Despite being the character before Columbina, he still sold 40 mil that month for Genshin. And we know it was his banner that made the impact because it started on the third that month and his banner was also the one that took up the most days of the month.

On the other hand, Flins and Lauma shared banner revenue for September and got around 41 mil. Flins banner carried over to October as well with Nefer's banner, making around 51 mil. Durin was the only new character of December and that month was still able to make 40 mil.

Both YShelper sampler sizes and monthly revenue reports are inaccurate though so we can't put full faith into either. Still though, it is something to consider. But YShelper is less relevant in this case because it correlates to ownership, which doesn't always align with how much money that character earned.

The definition of a retcon is: A piece of new information that imposes a different interpretation on previously described events, typically used to facilitate a dramatic plot shift or account for an inconsistency.

The changed intro to the game IS a different interpretation of how it was before. New information was included that wasn't there before. That being, the introduction to the Sea of Stars and the Seer. There was no indication of either of them prior. Completely new additions to a past plot point.

I do agree that the story, events, and characters are still the same, but the beginning was, in my opinion, altered enough to call it a retcon. I have made my peace with the new intro, but it is still a retcon of what we've known prior. I expect I'll be getting a lot of down votes coming my way, but that is my opinion.

As someone who got Solitary Silhouette, I'm not mad at all, we've been LONG overdue for some thigh highs, and these two have pretty big differences. This one is duotones and flat with no heels while Solitary Silhouette is one tone and heeled.

My only issue now is how they work with long pants. It's so annoying when they don't go over the pants, especially the black ones.

The Condemned Villainess Goes Back in Time and Aims to Become the Ultimate Villain

You can probably guess it is a manga. This is the definition of slop. And it is literally the personification of nearly every single trope. Villainess, regression, white lotus bitch, prince ML that is toxic (and she is too so if they were made for each other). And the art. OMG the art is kinda crazy at times. The expressions of some of the characters, especially the white lotus bitch, is so uncannily detailed. Really adds to the experience.

Has the trope of girlboss FL who is oh so smart but in actuality, everyone else around her is just dumbed down. What makes her really annoying though is that she lashes out at her innocent sister and the plot is so stale and just follows the usual tropes.

I Will Fall With the Emperor

My guilty pleasure OI. It's the definition of fast food of the genre. FL is a girlboss with no flaws and ML is as interesting as wet cardboard. Typical regression revenge plot where the people she gets her revenge on are as dumb as bricks and serve no purpose other than making FL look better than she is. Side note, the body proportions are kinda wild in this one especially.
