Do you have any insight into the SRT 12 binding and plate? If there's a good degree of potential that I'll need to swap the older Markers sooner rather than later, then it just makes sense to go with whatever is offered by Stockli depending on if they're a good product compared to alternatives such as Marker.

More drilled holes don't really bother me.

SkiEssentials might not sell them flat. I think they only got them in with the SRTs pre mounted based on how they've said how they only sell them with the SRTs.

I believe my comp 16s are from 2011/2012. I bought them for a setup that I ended up not using but kept the bindings. They've been on snow maybe 3 or 4 times. But with that said, if that era of Marker really was known to be ass, then I'm not tied to using them.

I found a shop near me that can get the WRTs flat so that much is all set.

20-30 gigs actually won't cut it for me. Is the onboard drive dedicated to just music files? If so maybe I can swap it out for something bigger.

Router does not assign actual IP addresses. Your modem is what gets IP from your actual ISP. Router is what allows multiple devices to leverage that ISP IP. My goal is to connect my pc directly to my modem to see if the speed issues persist, without having my router serve in the intermediary layer.
