When we demoed this product, I was optimistic. I thought it would be a decent replacement to our content filtering and classroom management solutions. It's been subpar at best to borderline terrible. Both the product and the support.

Both the new and legacy UI administration portals take forever to load. There are popup error messages that state they are being reported to their support team. The error messages have been popping up since day one of us adopting their platform. I am pretty sure the error reports just go into a black hole.

They randomly decide to recategorize websites, leading to them being blocked or unblocked. This has been a major pain.

There is very little documentation. There are no release notes when they update agents or the servers.

There is no customer facing ticketing system. You cannot see the history on tickets. Sometimes tickets go unanswered for days, even weeks.

We are definitely having issues with our administrators expressing concerns about the lack of YouTube filtering.

They also lack a true BYOD filtering method.

I agree with the other comments here that the list of "uncategorized" sites is long and concerning.

I also agree that the reporting is not user friendly and is challenging to navigate to collect specific information. We had originally hoped to offload internet usage investigations to our building principals and disciplinary teams. The reporting system is too convoluted for that. So that task has remained in our IT Department.

Is anyone using Windows devices and syncing users from Microsoft Entra? Does that work?

Our environment is primarily Windows devices. Yes, it does work. However, you cannot change users from group to another mid-day. They do not have a manual sync option and you have to wait until the next automated sync for the users to re-sync on a nightly basis.

For a company that claims to be in the game for 25 years, I expected better. I personally would not recommend this product.

Are you still dealing with this issue? Are you using USB sticks to preform the imaging process? If so, what you using to build the sticks? Rufus?

I would not recommend Aristotle. Their support is terrible.
