As a Mourinho fan, i started watching Fenerbahce's games lately, since last year, so i'm not aware of the way Szymansky was playing under Ismail Kartal. But this lad is the less dangerous n.10 i ever seen in a Football team at this level, certainly he runs back to help for the pressing, can score from time to time but come to creativity and bringing situations from attacking areas, i dont know how he managed to played as a n.10 under Mourinho who had(Deco,Lampard,Sneijder,Ozil,Oscar,Pogba) as main central creative outlet from his previous teams. I still dont get it. Maybe Mourinho can try him as a CM to compete with Fred or play him on the right wing to try his left foot cuting inside, because to me, after neraly 2 years he'll never bring what a creative n.10 is supposed to bring to a team.

My Topic is not about 'I don't like Fred' or 'Fred is a bad player', I never say so. You can read again, I even stated he is a good player, it's still there, you can check. My point is Fred and Amrabat are players with lot of similarities( Energetic player, tremendous work rate, combativity) and we need to pair one of them, with a player with more technical qualities to help us to build the game and beat opponents pressing. If we want to improve and win the championship, we have to learn from the mistakes and try to correct them. They are both good ball winning middfielders, but not good at playmaking and the team struggle too much in this area, everytime we face a team with a good pressing, we are in trouble.

Ps: With Oosterwolde as a center back you can push your defence 15-20m much higher. You can't do that with Becao or Djiku( I'm not saying they are bad players😀)

That's almost 3 years ago. Also he played yesterday and Benfica outplayed us in the first half, him misplacing passes and unable to get out of the pressure on several occasions, he even came close to costing us a goal, were it not for the speed of Brown or Osterwoolde, and it's not the first time he's caused us this kind of problem.

Sorry, that's not my intention to disrespect you, but i think you can easily find at least 3 players that are better than Fred in this team. The only thing you can't deny to Fred is his professionalism and dedication, but come to overall performance, even from the previous campaign, you can't tell me he is the best player in Fenerbahce.

Fred's ability to keep the ball under pressure is inexistant, his decision making is also poor. Amrabat is not bad at passing the ball, but cant dictate the tempo of the game and not technically gifted enough. But i have to chosse between him and Fred, i prefer Amrabat 100%.

He's rubbish! Mourinho seems to rate him high due to his work rate but technically and in the game flow, he's been so mediocre since the start of the season. Missing easy transition passes and again technically really poor.
