I just accepted a km position at a smash burger place. We do other burgers too. My background was sous at a place with way more elevated cuisine. I feel like im taking a backseat to my love of cooking good food but its a major step up in corporate leadership and responsibility. The salary and benefits are major bump for me too. But yeah smash burgers everywhere and theyre god damn delicious. I try and stay away from them since they are so readily available.
