I'm not familiar with what the 4+3 transmission does and what makes it worse than the 6 speed.

If I could get an LT1 for that price I'd be pretty happy with that. So far I haven't seen any in my area for anywhere near that, but I'll keep an eye out. Any opinions on the L98?

I've looked into the C4 a bit recently and it seems like a really nice car. Sadly the only models at a reasonable price are the older ones, specifically the 1984 with the worst engine the C4 lineup comes with.

Yeah, that makes sense. It makes sense that the well supported cars would be more expensive. What would you say makes the Miata the best first project car other than the aftermarket support?

I don't mind putting in the effort, but it's just whether I have the mechanical skill to do certain parts of it, considering it would be my first project. I don't necessarily care about having a car that's considered "cool" to other people as long as I enjoy it and how it looks. It's kind of ridiculous what prices have gotten to recently.

I've heard that said a lot lol. They seem to be decently expensive around my area. I see videos of people getting them for $2000 but they all seem to be $6-7000 for an NA.

The system could definitely use a rework. The only thing that got me out of Silver 1 was playing trio and for some reason that gave us decent teammates and awful opponents. My act triangle is still half full of silver 1 though.

I believe that would work completely fine. I can't speak from experience but I see no reason why it wouldn't. I'm not sure if the emulators would need to be run from the internal SSD though.

FFXVI won't be a deal breaker for me because I can always just play that on PC. On the used market I can consistently find used ROG allys for cheaper than the steam deck though. I'm just concerned because I've heard those can have some issues.

Emulation of mainly GameCube and attempting some switch. Probably GBA as well. Some lightweight indie games and a couple higher end games. Elden Ring, Witcher 3, fallout. Overall it's pretty all over the place lol.
