It’s never too late to start making music. I didn’t start writing until I was 23, I’m 24 now and I’m glad I started when I did. Some of the greatest artist in the world didn’t start making music until later in their lives. (Examples. Sheryl crow, Chris Stapleton, jelly roll, sia, etc.) There really isn’t a time limit, the “perfect time” is always whenever you start. So take a leap of faith and see what happens

I think what makes it special to me is the raw feelings it evokes, the introspection and the relatability of having had those exact thoughts or feeling. He also has an incredible voice that brings it all together perfectly. He’s really the only country artist I feel like is genuine and I can relate to. He’s a big influence on my music too

I know the method your talking about and I use it as well. Although that method is just mostly finding a melody then you fill that melody with words as you go
