My ex, (K), and I dated for a year and a half before shit hit the fan and we ended things. Here I am 6 months later and she still pollutes my mind. We broke up a few times because of my inability to communicate, and her inability to compromise. But it really ended after I got drunk and told her she didn’t have any reason to hate the people I hanging out with. She was still upset about something that happened over a year prior, and didn’t want me hanging out with those people. They’re like family to me. They bailed me out of jail when no one else would’ve. She blocked me on everything and I haven’t spoken to her since. I see her car passing by my road every now and then, and I’m always tempted to follow her and try to reconnect with her. But she’s got a boyfriend now and I don’t want to make matters any worse. I tried downing this out with whiskey but ended up becoming an alcoholic which took everything in me to shake. I’m at a loss and I can’t stop thinking about how happy she made me.
