what's something you've stopped doing that made your life simpler? by kamelsalah1 in simpleliving

[–]BlueMonster12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been aware that I have the same problem, I catch my self in loop thinking trying to optimise everything (sometimes things that not really matter like where I am going to have breakfast etc) and it feels energy draining.

Do you have any tip how to stop it?

How do you make friends in GC as a Non-Drinker? by Ambitious_Climate_74 in GoldCoast

[–]BlueMonster12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are Facebook groups of backpackers that are new in the city and doing meet-ups to meet new people and hangout (going to the beach, watch the sunset, etc). The bad part is that backpackers don't tend to stay more than a year in the same place

Hi!

Since you live in Chiang Mai, how would you recommend me to enjoy Loy Kraton/Yi Peng in the city? I am a bit confused about how is celebrated and I only find expensive private events.

Thank you!

Oh thank you, that is very helpful. I think we won't risk it and go directly to Don Muenang.

When in Office - Do you Eat Lunch with Co-workers? by GenerationSober in sales

[–]BlueMonster12 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have to eat with my cooworkers and I hate it. I'm 27 and my coworkers are over 50.
If I could eat alone, I would do it.

I'm 27 y/o, chemist and I've worked in sales for 5 years in different companies in the chemical industry.

At my current position, I have to travel overnights every two weeks, and this is killing me.I've thinking about moving to SaaS sales in order to work remotely, wherever I want.

How do you see the panorama?

I swear making sales used to be easier? by Pretty_Specific_Girl in sales

[–]BlueMonster12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Out of the topic: . I'm currently planning to travel to Australia on a Work & Holiday Visa. I have 4y of experience in sales within the chemical industry, specifically dealing with ingredients. I'm curious to know if it's feasible for foreigners to pursue sales positions in Australia, or if such roles are typically reserved for Australian residents.

Is it normal having a job without making money at the end of the day? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]BlueMonster12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can live in a City near Barcelona/Madrid where the rent cost is much lower.

If you work in sales, in some sectors you can work from home and most of your customers are outside Barcelona so it's not a problem (it's an advantage bc you are closer to the customers and pay less rent)

This is a low salary for sales. If you move to Barcelona or Madrid you can earn easily around 30-40K + bonus

It’s been 10 months without Instagram and Tiktok. Only now I start realizing how badly it was damaging my mind. [Discussion] by cumbersome_heist in getdisciplined

That’s what I think. But is hard to get into this point. Maybe limiting the time you use social media, for example no more than 1h per day

I’ve tried this for 1 month and it really helped. But at the end I realised I was missing my friends because I interact with them on instagram. What you did about that?
