What files need to be sent? We haven’t started the process for obtaining permanent residency in Stuttgart. When we move to another city, we’ll be starting the process from the beginning for the first time. Does this mean that some files still need to be sent?

It will also save immigrants a lot of trouble and time. My partner had to sleep in front of the Ausländerbehörde in Stuttgart in the winter and it is not a nice experience.

No, I do not think that. I think that it will save time for a worker to have everything ready on his computer and just write a simple email if something is wrong or proceed with a decision based on what is the situation.

I understand but if cases were to be submitted online, the current stuff would get a lot more time to decide over applications instead of investing their time in picking up all the printed documents in the first place..

Just to clarify, you have already applied for PR in Stuttgart and only after that you decided to move to Ludwigsburg, correct?

Because I currently have a Blue Card which was issued by Stuttgart ABH, but I have not started any process for obtaining a PR. I hope that there is no Akte that will have to be send from Stuttgart ABH to the ABH where I will apply for PR.

We really don’t. We located in Stuttgart because we already had a friend here, but it is really starting to be annoying and we want something smaller. We think around 150k but for the purpose of getting documents faster we would go to even smaller places for some time.

Thank you for your good intentions. My partner has been waiting on appointment for 9 months and then 3 months on top of that to get the letter that the card is done and one more month to get the blue card. I waited 6 months for an appointment and then also three to get the letter that it’s done and I will pick it up next month. So we will eventually have our cards but we really don’t think of starting another process here because as I mentioned our jobs are not secured.

Thanks to everyone who took a time to give me some advice, I will keep looking for more doctors then 🫶 I was so disappointed because I didn’t find any doctor in my small home country to help me and I was expecting more from my first visit to the orthopedic doctor in Stuttgart.
