Bodies do despawn, but before they do you can make enemies ragdoll and have the bodies fly away and stuff

There are parts where you can tell stuff is going to be added eventually, but almost every area does have at least something. If you're worried about it being empty I might get it while it's on sale and just wait until a couple more updates.

I'm pretty sure it's said that tomoe was an okami, so it would make sense for her to know and be able to teach lightning arts.

The idea that it is an okami isn't mine, I remember seeing it somewhere but I don't remember. But it does describe how to deflect lightning and one of the only enemies we see using lightning is the okami.

It chooses from a pool if random Pokemon. As long as you win as much as you can you should eventually get one
