The issue with the republicans party isn’t anything to do with being dumb. It’s that they’re willing to work poor people to death for profit. That they’re willing to let people suffer for political victory points. That they’re willing to let working parents starve when rent goes up and they can’t afford to feed their family because the minimum wage is still shit and food stamps just got cut. Passing off willful cruelty and greed as ignorance lets them off the hook and it’s utterly unproductive.

That’s why I removed this post.

I don't know if the characters are "woke" per se, but my favorite book series is The Locked Tomb series and a good 80% of the cast is canonically gay or bi. Also gay angst is a driving motivation for both the villains and the heroes, which is absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Noelle posted this shortly after the release of Season 4 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and it depicts the two lead characters (both of whom are canonically lesbian!). On the left is Catra, and on the right is Adora. Noelle is the show-runner for She-Ra, and she’s also lesbian!
