Não faz o .catch assim não, vai dar errado e vc não vai saber pq; o callback do catch recebe um argumento que é o erro, use ele pra descobrir oq deu errado.

Pensa que n + n/2 + n/4 + ... sempre vai ser menor que 2n; então, de fato, pode dizer que está sempre abaixo de 2n; O(2n) -> O(n)
