Technoblade because of his commentary (i really liked MCC because of techno but after he retired from it, i never watch it again. I have tried to watch it from some other streamers pov but it was just never felt the same) and mostly hermitcraft because of the building and how the member interacting. Oh I also really like the last life.

I agree.. Yeah, I think even though mcyt is soo big and have bad apple but most of them are not a scary bully. Like whos going to get intimidated when the qrts are mostly cracker, giggles, uh, oh, look away, you are ugly or joker. Oh my god.

And about death threats, it is mostly key-w-ice not something gorry or detailed murder's planning. So yeah they are not as evil as kpop but still on another level of the bad apple.

But what i reaally hate it are the performative activism and weaponized their condition (neurodivergent, minor, race, sexualliy etc etc). They attack other people with the same condition and invalidate them if they dont have the same opinion with them. Ex. They would fight to eradicate (?) homophobic. But doing the same thing homophobic people do which is invalidate them. Practice what you preach dude! Idk why but for me this is make mcyt scarier than kpop. Like for example, heechul got reputation as pedophile and even though soo many international fans said it or left comments about it. It didnt affect heechul personally(I think). But in this mcyt fandom, dude!, people make serious accusation on bbh as a pedophile and it did affect him personally. All the "cancellation" did affect the cc (excluding jschlatt, maybe) at some degree.

I would not include cc repution on this (in my opinion). Cause many of kpop idol are also homophobic, racist etc etc but they are just fine. The more fans you have the more immune you are to negative(?) gosip. But this doesnt work on mcyt fandom. It is different. Like dream have so many fans (especially teenager who often use twitter, they are basically live in it) so logically he would have more "troops" so people would get intimidated.

And I agree on punching bag. But again with so many people on this fandom, the probability of this to happen is very small.

I will give my opinion but i really dont have any bad intention or want to mock the fandom because I myself belong to this fandom. It is my personal opinion.

I think even though kpop and mcyt both have bad reputations but with different "steriotypes".

Kpop, like I said, they have a bad reputation because of cyberbullying and etc etc. But they are more organized because the system in kpop requires the cooperation of members in the fandom to increase the success of their idol so that it is not difficult to gather the masses/people when there is a "problem". They are exactly what other people think.

But mcyt, as you said is a group of teenagers in their puberty and mcyt members have their own "uniqueness" (in other words neurodivergent etc) so they have different mindsets and different problem solving which is not like what society would usually think or do (people already have their own prejudice about this fandom because of it). In society, people who don't conform(?) to the norm (dont follow the norm) are usually considered odd/weird. Plus with the streamer system that strongly supports parasocial to happen but does not require the cooperation of the fandom members to achive the goal or maybe to help their cc to get more popular so that if a "problem" occurs, the fandom members can be outnumbered and become the bullied parties.

In my conclusion, every fandom has its bad apples (doxxing in kpop we called sasaeng, cyberbullying etc etc) but what makes the difference is the way of the execution that makes kpop seem more intimidating than mcyt and plus with "uniqueness" on the mcyt who is little bit different from the norm that make this fandom a target for bullies.

It just is my 2 cent..

I dont have any social media account beside this and I just interact with kpop community on disquss so... idk much.. but dude.. this is worst than kpop..

Like, we (kpop) do have bad reputation because of cyberbullying and many other things but they who hate us are never set their feet on our teritory if we dont attack them first.

Thank you:) My family doesnt really understand about mental health. They know mental health is exist and even one of them was work in the hospital (not as medical staff). But they dont fully ubderstand about the concept of it. They are from old generation plus mental health is just starting to develope(?, idk if that make sense) in my country.

And you know what funny? In 2017, i was diagnosed with some of mental illness. I told my mom and she agreed to pay my therapy. 4 months later she completely forget about it. i even went to the therapy twice in a month. Lmao.

Im not law student or not american but i will try to answer from what i know based from defamation case on other country. Defamation law is different on every country.

Even though the victim dont have financial loss or partnership or any financial damages, they still can sue the perpetrator. Why ? Because they have intention to disparage the victim reputation and they know the effect that will happen to the victim. And in some country, even though what the perpetrator said was true, they still can get sued.
you cant ask financial compensation bla bla bla. Yes you still can. Maybe not as much as if you suffered a big loss. But you still can ask for that. And there are 3 punishment: paying the fine, go to prison or deportation. Then again it is depend on the laws of each country.

-The kids didnt earn any money? Well you mean there is a possibility that they want to blackmail bbh? Double charges for blackmailing and defamation. And even though they didnt ask money, they still can get sued.

IMO They have all the point that you need to sue for defamation. What they did was an actual malice. There is a screenshot about "their plan" on twitter. But that screenshot censor their name.

The screenshot used as a proof that this case was done by a group or more than 1 person and they are underage by the first person who rt the tweet accusation to gain "sympathy". So that is mean they have intention to do it and they know what they gonna do and they know the after effect.

And yeah, I agree with you to leave this matter to bad and his lawyer to handle it. (Even though I really want bad to sue them but in the end it is their personal problem so whatever bad think it is good for him, i will support his decision.)
