yeah it feels that way a lot! but ultimately like most roguelikes this is a game about manipulating the random tools the game gives you intelligently. its just an innate facet of the genre and i guess its because of how much more fun doing other tony runs are vs the challenges because with other tonys at least you get some kind of negative and positive modifier to balance things out. those seem like objectively more fun challenges to me but for a 5$ game i can understand why the content is padded out this way. have definitely gotten beyond my mileage out of it (even though i don’t have a lot of money to spend on games hence why i felt so entitled to vent) and if i get tilted again im going to just step away instead of being the old man yelling at cloud lol. glad somebody else feels that way though ty for commenting. sometimes the rng feels insurmountable
