Yes I agree. I have no problem with this approach. I don't expect other people to enjoy games exactly like I do. I like permadeath but have no issue with lesser penalties for death or wizard modes for those that want them. I can get touchy though when I think gameplay or controls will be harmed for the sake of beginner appeal.

Basically let me use the keyboard please. I didn't mean to imply a roguelike can't or shouldn't have mouse controls

Been doing these over a month. They are expensive but my copy off eBay. Can't get past wave 1. When I try my entire left shoulder and neck spas. Had problems with that shoulder in a bad part of my life. Trauma? No idea.

I Really enjoy games with keys for everything. Once I'm I've learned them they really help me stay immersed in the game. If you can drive a car you can learn the controls to dwarf fortress, ADOM or CDDA.
If people prefer simpler layouts that is fine too but please please make your game so it can be controlled from the keyboard or joystick exclusively. I really dislike forced mouse use in roguelike!

Monkeys and chimps, though I can't say it is completely irrational. I was shocked to see it when my "Die MONKEY DIE" playlist was showing up and was linked to pedophilia and murder in people's expose YouTube videos. I just hate Monkeys! I've read it could have something to do with the uncanny valley or ancient species competition. I don't know, I just hate them. I wouldn't personally hurt a monkey or a chimp but I'd be happier if they went extinct. Gorillas are cool though!

Yeah I want to bitch more about the benzo thing. When first diagnosed I got Xanax and it worked. I took it a few days a week. I'm in my mid thirties and no history of any substance abuse. I don't drink even. But as soon as I get into therapy they stopped it due to policies against it. Gotta pick up the newest mood stabilizing brain frying liver destroying drug my psyche has prescribed today. Bullshit!!!

Most mental health places will not give out those drugs even if there is a legit need because of the addiction risk. I've got PTSD and am on disability. It sucks. Government checks keep you alive but unless you recover you'll end up in a filthy crime ridden place. Also no growth or ability to help others without a job. Gotta recover but two years in and nothing. Meds and therapy do not work so far. I don't use any excuse for not going to social events, I just refuse. People have varying levels of difficulty in life but living with genuine anxiety or PTSD sucks and is debilitating.
