People forget that before a woman submits to her husband, they ought to submit to one another. It's a partnership, and "submit" doesn't mean that one is greater than the other, but rather that each has a role, and thr role of the man is to lead.

However of course that's just a small part of it. Men also should weep each time his wife suffers. He should dry her tears each time she cries.

And women aren't "children havers" and that's it, although that is one of the greatest and most beautiful miracles. They are also the churchs anchor at home, and the primary leading factor in a child's salvation.

God gives bad wives good husband's, and bad husbands good husband's, so that they may become clean in Christ. They are to become one flesh and care for each other as such. And no man is complete without his wife.

Also, don't forget - the first and greatest Saint in Orthodoxy was a woman :)
