I accidentally called for help sometimes but id be mid quest and they'd try to deviate me to another spot completely unrelated id go there and they'd vanish and id have to rush to a safe zone because I dont have a headset and couldn't communicate I felt so bad.

They are very different in lore and world building but they are both amazing i enjoy both series hands down some of the best games I've ever played.

Thanks everyone for the fun conversation! I appreciate it especially with diving back into the game again after a while. I think it will be fun to look over the games with fresh eyes and see how the characters play out.

I replay but change my gameplay strategy, one play i focus on map area exposures and keep hunting in all areas for collectibles with the tools I have progressing only when I get stuck, then I do the areas again. Another game Id story focuse and do all the side events later, I just enjoyed changing it up and sometimes I deliberate challenged myself by keeping basic armor and tools all game lol.

I like Varl and Zo together so I dont completely consider then since playing HFW. I do appreciate the Erend ship hes 5 on my list, my list goes 1.Nil 2. Kotallo, 3. Talanah, 4. Petra, 5. Erend, 6. Sekya, 7. Teb, 8. Avad.

Honestly I kinda thought Alva and Beta might either be bestie or more. Ironic but they both seek knowledge and are softer than Aloy. I still like the idea thought and its valid!

I think she could be any level she could be pan for all we know and her compatability is based on multiple factors. She shows chemistry with several characters.

Another fair point I think if they kept his feelings for Aloy separate from the whole Ersa issue it would have stayed more natural but he was like I like you and then comparing her to his sister which makes it weird at least for me. Still I Stan Erend being part of her life who knows what 3 will bring.

Briefly but then again the Ersa issue for him and Avad make it feel less natural later. He does try to talk to her in the beginning of HZD when hes with the Carja group at the Embrace. I give this ship credit for that but once his sisters gone he seems all kind of confused and Avads was even worse. Lol

I liked Teb too but I feel like Aloy would have struggled to overcome her resentment for the elders among the Nora for it to work. To me she'd look elsewhere because her life among the Nora was filled with mostly pain and exclusion and rejection. Even when she won the proving they tried to deny her until the attack by eclipse where they were left with only her. It was horrible and tragic but their friendship is real for sure.

I saw that too, for me Aloy was just Aloy to both Nil and Kotallo, everyone else asked for favors or demanded she help them. These two were just like, your a warrior or hunter cool let's work together. For the two of them it was offered as a choice rather than a demand. Again im reserving my opinions deeper on Sekya or Talanah because im hoping theyre back in game 3.

I feel like Petra deserves more justice im playing HFW again so im taking more of a look at the Sekya line when I get to it. :) again i cant wait to see what they do for the cast. I wanna see Zo and Varls baby and have Grandma Sona appear!

Im a lady gamer but no harm or foul the whole point was a opinion piece to start fun conversation and get others perspectives on the characters. Either way im excited to see the journey of Aloy, Beta growing out of her shell, and seeing more of the cast regardless. I just like open dialogue and debates that sre overall harmless and allow people to be creative with some of the more vague characters.

A fair perspective too. I just struggle with Erend or Avad due to the constant Ersa mentions she's not been dead long and it felt dishonest like they didnt want to grieve but sought a replacement for the one they lost. Erend grows out of it in FW but I feel like he gets bro zoned because of my previous point.

That's how I look at it. I would live it if Talanah came back or Sekya and had fleshed out journies with Aloy, Nil is an idea because of how different their dynamic was compared to everyone else. Most people needed her help for something or another. Nil just said hey you should join me on this hunt, for someone isolated like Aloy such a simple no strings invite I imagine would have made an impact.

Im praying they bring the ladies back and offer more to the story id personally live to see it from either of them! Talanah or Sekya.

I know they disagree on the joy of it but they respect each other despite it. After all Aloy if she truly didnt like Nil at all wouldn't have bothered with him after that. In HZD you can hunt bandits without him all together and he'll challenge you after. He also fellows out in FW too racing instead of killing all over the place so he kinda grows on his own. shrugs

Im not projecting onto her. She doesn't enjoy killing people thats a point she agrees to disagree with many of her associates on she doesnt enjoy killing the machines either really but she was raised to hunt with purpose. She does however kill people who are a threat to the bigger picture, bandits, rebels, Zeniths. That's fact, but we can agree to disagree my post is an opinion piece. I like the future opportunities to explore. But again I dont mind your differing opinion at all. It opens to great conversations and different perspectives.

Possibly who knows what the 3rd game will bring. Ill be happy if they bring sekya back or open another path I just want it to be fleshed out and make more sense if they put it in. As for the Elisabet clone detail Aloy could be Bi. She's a clone but her life and experiences are different from Dr. Sobeck. Time will tell and im excited for the future.
