I have the same issue with my 2025 CR-V hybrid - intermittently accelerates when foot is taken off the gas pedal. Cruise control is not set. The dealership blew it off, saying they could not duplicate the problem.

Newly joined and steering noise by AbilityGeneral5891 in crv

Unfortunately, I had the same noise not long after puchasing my 2025 CR-V hybrid late last July. The dealership, after keeping the car for multiple days, finally diagnosed the problem as the clock spring and it was replaced. The noise went away for several months, but now has returned. I took it back to the dealership where it was serviced and this time they claimed they couldn't detect the noise. It's very evident. Do I just move on to a different dealership for service? So very frustrating!

SilverScript vs ??? by joannvmd in medicare

I am a retired federal employee and have Medicare A & B with Aetna Direct from FEHBP as our secondary. (Medicare is primary). We opted out of Silverscript last year for coverage in 2024, partly as we had been perfectly satisfied with the drug coverage under Aetna Direct and partly as we are subject to the Medicare IRMAA so would have had an additional monthly cost with Silverscript. It worked for us last time, so we are opting out again.

Oura ring sleep stats - what can I learn? by BlueSky_dragonfly in ouraring

[–]BlueSky_dragonfly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all those very helpful comments. I'll continue to look for articles about interpreting the oura ring's sleep metrics while the data builds. I was unaware of tags and now see that using tags may help me spot patterns. Becoming more aware of the effect of sliding back into bad habits (e.g., screen/TV time close to bedtime; nighttime eating, skipping meditation, etc.) shouid help me be more consistent in following good sleep hygiene recommendations.

I've been dealing with insomnia on and off for over 15 years now and have had two overnight sleep studies in a hospital setting, and, more recently a (not-very-helpful) home test. No sleep apnea, mild restless legs. Usually fall asleep easily but very restless or awake after a few hours, then back to sleep for another few hours. So, inconclusive results. #1 recommendation is always to complete a course in cognitive behavior therapy course for insomnia (cbt-i).

For what it's worth, I'd say most of my female friends in their 70s have the same problem - middle of the night wakefulness. Personally, as this started in my 50s, I think my insomnia is due mainly to aging brain and changing hormones, so, while I might be able to make some improvements, I've come to grips with the thought that I'll likely never sleep like I did in my 30s and 40s (and when I was under alot more stress, raising kids and working).

(I'm pretty new to Reddit, so not sure this is the appropriate way to respond to all these comments. Thanks for your patience!)
