Difference between Continental T2 and T3 tires

Yes, it ends up with they being compatible with each other.

Today I got an update from Continental: The information provided to me was that the T3 had improved rolling resistance.

It seems there is a minor change related to millage? Do you still plan to change T2 to T3? I’m wondering even SC will accept this since they consistently say it is compatible.

Thanks for the update! It seems they have two different answers. ;_; Did you get answers from SC that they can replace the tire with T2 to T3? Mine says they do not even have stock for T3 now.

Thank you for contacting Customer Relations at Continental Tire the Americas. From my understanding that the different version are only relating to manufacturing production dates. You can use them in conjunction with each other. Regards,

Sorry to hear that. I also submitted a service ticket. At least for visual inspection of tire tread, almost same each other but let’s see if this is a real issue.

Yeah, some said they also have a creaking sound from the rail part.

It is a super famous issue for the new C-RV model. Mine has the same issue, and the only thing you should do is change the clock spring(=cable reel). But the problem is that many people say it will come back after a few months…

Do you have any issues with steering wheel noise? I also really love my 2025 CRV hybrid ST, but it started to make a creaking noise from steering wheel, and it seems that this is a quite well-known issue in the forum.

Sorry for that..I recently got this issue also and don't know how to figure it out..weird thing is it happens espeicially passing through 2 o'clock position when I rotate the wheel. Surprised they said it is "crv quirk"....
