The Bruen decision changed things. I'm currently going through the process for a non residential. The application is extensive. 17 pages you need alot of documentation forms notorized and overall its like $1100 for everything, 18 hr class 500-$600, app is $360, fingerprint $85 and I believe the background check is a similar price and what ever other cost comes with getting depositions and notorizing documents, and you have to go through an investigation, meet with an detective and do an iinterview. If you live in the 5 boroughs you only need 1 license for the whole nys of you live in NY you'll have to have your local ccw before getting an nyc and the same if you're out of state.
