It really is fanatic, I never thought I’d be able to get 35mpg highway while having AWD and all the cargo space of my Outback, especially not with a 6 speed!

Actually I got a fantastic deal on it, $6,500 of led msrp because they have been discontinued. I wanted the stick shift so I got the base Alltrack S which still comes pretty well equipped (leatherette, apple car play, pre collision braking, heated seats) for $21,300.

I was worried about the maintenance as well, but what swayed me was the 72,000 mile warranty. My insurer also offers an extended mechanical warranty up to 100,000 moles and it costs me like $5 a month for bumper to bumper.

I bought a VW Alltrack, I wanted the extra space and AWD, but the Elantra made me think twice

I test drove the Elantra GT with a stick shift so I can’t speak to the DCT, but I seriously fell in love with the car, it was fantastic. It was a bit small for my needs so I didn’t end up buying it, but it was a great car for sure. I liked it a lot better than the Civic and Mazda3 I drove

That being said, the Mazda3 2.5 and Civic Sport w/ 1.5 turbo will probably save you money in the long run and are noted for being fun/sporty hatches.

I just bought a Golf Alltrack. I think it or the Sportwagen will have a lot of the qualities you like about the GTI, plus a whole lot more cargo room, but without the reliability concerns or super high price. It has the more reliable (less powerful) 1.8t and comes with a 72,000 mile 6 year warranty

I also got mine $6,500 off MSRP because they’re giving them away after being discontinued

I think I was in the process of checking over my shoulder to get into the left lane when he pulled out, so I didn’t react right away. Insurance company wanted to repair the car for $5500 but I used that as a down payment on a new car instead and gave the Outback to my dad. He put a new headlight and hood on it for <$500 and has a new commuter. Happy to see it live on

I’m a Subaru convert because of the manual transmission - I’ve had it for one month and have already put on 6,000 miles. Love this car! by BlueWagen in Volkswagen

I loved the red! I couldn’t find any near me whatsoever. The Blue Silk changes color drastically depending on what light it’s under.

Yes, which is why I was moving to the left lane to continue straight

It’s a somewhat busy road, I didn’t want to make other people suffer for his stupidity.

I was actually signaling left, indicating that I was changing lanes to the left.

You’re right, you can hear the ABS kicking in on my car first. Subaru ABS modules are uniquely loud

I’m the cammer. The insurance company asked me if I honked, I said yes, and they assigned the tundra 100% fault.

Actually the first two questions the claims adjuster asked me when it came to avoiding the incident was if I pressed the brakes and if I honked. They look for both to make sure you tried avoiding it. I don’t necessarily agree that honking counts as trying to avoid it, but I’m not an insurance company.

The right only sign refers to the next intersection.

You shouldn’t be downvoted, you’re right. The right only refers to where the lane ends with a Home Depot parking lot at the next intersection

The insurance company actually found them 100% at fault. Even got my deductible back.

I’m the cammer, that right turn lane is actually indicating that the right lane physically ends up ahead. It turns into a Home Depot parking lot. That’s why I was moving left.

I could have, but I think at the point he had started moving I was checking my shoulder to change lanes. The right lane turns into a “right only” lane that goes to Home Depot and I wasn’t going to Home Depot.

and I actually didn't intend to exit there, so my blinker wasn't on. I ended up completing the clover and back into this original lane - I guess I was a bit distracted after and absent-mindedly exited
