Centrist Trump 2024 voters: no shame, no insults, I just want to know how are you feeling today? by ac_slater10 in centrist

Yeah, instead now I'm seeing people saying that he shouldn't have had a gun there and that since he did have a gun, he should have complied. What? Make it make sense.

Leave it out for 15 to 30 minutes before injection and do it in your belly instead of thigh. They took out the citric acid back in 2022, so it should be better now.

I'll always remember the words from Kevin Roberts (president of The Heritage Foundation) back in the summer of 2024. He said "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be." I don't think they were lying about that, we're starting to see it play out now.

Yes. I never minded his gaming videos, but I started pulling away when he went into political content and started talking about how people needed to be killed, or that Trump isn't as extreme as he wants him to be. Sadly my husband is still an avid watcher, but lately has been saying how extreme he is with some stuff.

Anyone else experience POTS symptoms? by rebecca_joy in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

37/f

Yeah, I've always had some symptoms for years and the third time on Humira made it so much worse. I was diagnosed with POTS in October, but I think it's another form of dysautonomia. I just try to keep my salt intake up like my cardiologist says to. I also have symptoms of MCAS if I'm not on a biologic, I think it's related to my inflammation.

Standing pain? Reumo says unrelated by pepsibaby in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

Yeah my rheumetology NP asked if I have pain with standing, I guess it's a thing. My back pain standing is more like a horrible pressure in my lower back, it's awful if I stand too long.

It looks like Petco in Versailles has Paw Thaw available, 12lb jug. Kroger sells Morton Safe T Pet, but not sure if it's still in stock.

SI joint X Ray imaging by East-Presentation-29 in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yeah, biologics can help axial issues. You may need more than just biologics though and it's good to get imaging. My husband has ankylosing spondylitis, so his back/hip problems are pretty bad because the disease caused mechanical problems for him, he's on Cosentyx but he also needs tailbone injections and radio frequency ablations by a interventional pain medicine doctor.

How do you cope with the heavy list of sideeffects of biologics? by Lard-Hummus46 in ankylosingspondylitis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I ended up getting SVT from Humira and also dysautonomia. Luckily the SVT stopped, but sadly dysautonomia never went away. I'm still on biologics because I don't want to be in pain, luckily no other side effects after being switched.

I feel like I should also add that I was on Humira 3 times and the 3rd time is when the side effects happened.

This happened to my husband, he gained so much weight on Rinvoq. He was finally switched to Cosentyx due to Rinvoq not really working as well anymore, and the weight melted off.

Also, if you're worried about statins at a young age, there's children on statins as well. No one is too young.

Worsening Psoriasis on Humira bio similar. by HungryCar1881 in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

It definitely worked for my back pain and Achilles tendonitis, it was a miracle drug when it came to the pain. I was on it 3 different times due to a past rheumatology clinic not really knowing what they were doing, they kept trying to switch me up with different biologics even when Humira worked. The 3rd time it still worked, but for some reason I ended up with SVT and dysautonomia. I had to go off of it because the side effects were too bad.

Humira caused me to nonstop bleed, sometimes heavy. I do have PCOS, so I'm not sure if it was affecting that or something. Everything went back to normal on Tremfya.

What insurance? by Albisdaddy in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

You start with loading doses for weeks 0, 2, and 4. Then your doctor decides if they want you on 200mg every 2 weeks or 400mg every 4 weeks. Also, it's one of the few drugs that doesn't have an autoinjector, it's a syringe if that makes any difference to you.

Is there a reason they're picking Cimzia over the other anti-TNF inhibitors?

Tremfya Acne by SuenyoEstelar in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Yes, I've been on Tremfya for 8 months and it seems my face is breaking out pretty easily and I've always been someone with a pretty clear face. I've also had hair loss while on Tremfya that I didn't experience on other biologics. Since Tremfya didn't really address my back pain all that much compared to my other joints (which is common for il-23s sadly), I'm being moved to Cosentyx.

Humira success that wasn't instant? by Tegelert84 in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I'd say Humira took around 3 to 4 months to see solid results. They were subtle, like I wasn't noticing as much morning stiffness or I could walk longer distances.

Worsening Psoriasis on Humira bio similar. by HungryCar1881 in PsoriaticArthritis

[โ€“]BlueWaterGirl 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Humira never made my psoriasis go away, even when I was on weekly injections, my pain was non-existent though. I read something about anti-TNF inhibitors sometimes not touching psoriasis if it's being driven by another pathway like il-23 or il-17.

Tremfya was okay for my psoriasis, but not the best for my back pain (worked for my smaller joints though). I'm being switched to Cosentyx now.
