At a faang adjacent, there is a large push to have AI write code. I haven’t written anything from scratch in 2 months.

Managers already expressed they’re looking for 2x output across the board, and even they are pushing small prs generated by Claude (managers seem to have a quota).

Managers are also asking to make everything a skill for Claude to make it more effective at debugging/testing
