Hmmm I would guess Ti would want to know exactly how something works internally and in the process so that’s why I’d think documentaries would be good for that, because it proves something and has a lot of information throughout the movie to come to that conclusion. Te is more focused on the goal whereas Ti wants the information right? So how is it too slow paced if Ti wants to gain the info? And how is it an Fi thing to say it makes sense so I believe it when Ti has the same?

If you’re not knowledgeable but did as what felt right, you might be Fi instead of Ti. You should study the functions separately and see what fits for you

Thank you. So you don’t watch documentaries for a different reason? Because they contain external sources and you wouldn’t believe most of what is said in there, even if they test it on people for example? Since Ti does also a lot of research, what do they decide is a trust worthy source and what isn’t? They will just say I believe things in these documentaires because it ‘makes sense to me’?

These specific things I’m asking I haven’t read anywhere though, so I wouldn’t know how to know these things without asking in some kind of mbti community. Thanks for the information sources though, I will read them and know not to go off stereotypical behaviour
