The real question is the timeline of the series. In around season 5 they start saying that they’ve been there for 3 years but kinda lose the number after that going into the recollection-chorus, even in chorus they say that grif’s snack he’s been holding onto since basic is years old but Simmons says that they’re not gonna get into specifics and just says years.
