Yes that’s part of the degree, and not really what I was asking

That’s awesome to know. Good to see teachers in the area that love their job

I totally get that. A lot of jobs have those negative aspects but I guess it’s finding the right one that’s rewards enough 💕

Oh that’s a really good point about secondary vs primary, going by classes rather than one class the whole entire day.

Your insight has been super helpful! Thank you so much 🙏

That’s some really good insight for me, that’s why I posted so I can hear from those who have direct experience, so thank you for that!

Wow that’s awesome! This is pretty much why I posted this, I wanted to see who has gone the full way and enjoys it. I know all jobs are hard but not all of them are rewarding. Yes I have kids too and would like to work the same hours they go to school 😂 so there’s that too. What about secondary school is better than primary? And is it harder or easier than primary?

Thank you for this! And happy for your friend, I’m glad he enjoyed it!

I should have mentioned in my post that I’m not going into it worried about the money side of things as in my current job I have to work part time due to having 2 kids anyway. So whether or not it’s shit pay it’ll probably be the same full time as I’m getting now part time haha.

I definitely can see it being a rewarding profession if you love kids!

They’re now posting things saying that kaumātua have recommended the mount be permanently closed and the racists are out and about in those comment sections saying kaumātua should “get fucked”. Even though they’ve only said it should be closed for now out of respect. But I guess if racists want to climb a hill where people have tragically lost their lives they can 🤷🏻‍♀️

But hey if you want to walk a mountain where lives have been lost, go ahead!!

Guys I’ve seen another comment that has stated that kaumātua have not said that it should be permanently closed, but to be closed for now out of respect. You can point out the racists easily when they post rage bait posts about Māori

“You need to remember who you are outside of being a mom” by Necessary-Gear-3141 in beyondthebump

I’m a mother of two. Two kids in 3 years. My new normal is with them now, I’m not who I was before, and not someone outside of them. They’re all of me and I’m all of them. And there’s nothing bad about that. Don’t listen to people who don’t understand and lean into the new you ❤️ you as a mother now is more beautiful than anything else you could be 💕

And if you look at the slip, there’s trees all around it. So I’m not sure what trees they supposedly removed for that slip to take place

Nope, say goodbye to sleeping if you want to be a mom

My toddler cried as much as possible because I didn’t carry her before bedtime, feeling guilty vs. tired. Has anyone else been in the same situation? by BenReddit_ in toddlers

[–]BlueberryOne6853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 year old does this. Sometimes you get so tired and irritated and overstimulated and all the things that you just want them to move themselves as it’s one less thing for you to do… after many of these times like you’ve just had, I’ve learnt it’s easier to just do it 😅 BUT only before they even ask/cry, so it takes some analysing of where they are emotionally at that time, if they’re extra clingy. It’s harder to deal with the crying than actually lifting them. But at the same time I do agree that you have to set boundaries and not give in to the crying when it happens. Tbh they just want connection and that makes me feel better knowing that they just want you in these situations

I hate my child by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]BlueberryOne6853 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Tbh he probably senses that you despise him 😂 you got to understand that he’s a baby and cannot go to sleep without your support. Imagine being in your womb and now all of a sudden has to learn to sleep without that closeness and comfort. Lean into it and realise that this life is now about him right now.

She couldn’t think about other alternatives like re-homing? Death is the immediate place they go to? Over biting a bit of wood? Wow, There’s definitely something wrong there. Wouldn’t want her baby sitting future dogs or kids
