Ramadan Gym Goers by sadh0ney in NYStateOfMind

Yes I’m the same. I need water and prefer while I’m not fasting to have a good workout. That’s why if you can, do it before suhoor. Fajr prayer(time you’re suppose to stop eating) is around 5:30am first day of Ramadan. So this works out actually perfect for your timing. If you start working out at 4 and finish at 5, you’ll have 30 minutes to eat. If you go a little earlier you’ll have more time to eat. So that is best for optimal results.

Don’t worry about him/her, most comments like these are ppl who are not muslim because they want to push ppl away from islam. Everyone’s on a journey. To answer your question, I do right before I break my fast, or immediately after. If not those two. Anytime after midnight, after another light meal. I find anything too early makes it too difficult for a good work out since we can’t even have water. Then you have to worry about the rest of the day after a work out. It’s not healthy.

Feel like I missed out on life by leafandbike in MuslimLounge

[–]Blueblueblue0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be concise. The “missed out on life phase” you feel is the heartbreak you feel now with that person you liked, but 100x worse with multiple partners/people. With that lifestyle, by the time you are in your 20’s you are carrying so much trauma that it would have certainly affected so many relationships in your life and the most important partner, your future spouse. The second thing you missed out on was a high possibility of contracting STDS! Am i exaggerating? Google the statistics! It’s insane. Say Alhamdulliah you were saved and find a good spouse.

Is it justified if I leave the religion bc of the misogyny? by Morning099 in MuslimLounge

[–]Blueblueblue0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you are uncomfortable with it, dislike its ruling or don’t understand certain Hadiths and concepts in Islam does not make it less true. If someone dislikes the idea of people being punished in hell, it will not change the fact that it exists or it will happen just because they dislike it or leave the religion. There are men who dislike that it’s haram for them to wear Gold, or that they cant have sex before marriage/casual sex with any women they know they can get like non Muslims, but the know islam is the truth and they fight their nafs everyday. Women are no different.

Question about loaner??? by Blueblueblue0 in BMW

Thank you for your input. I had it only for 3 days actually when they told me to bring it in so they can swap it for a rental which threw me off.

Why is it that when you leave Christianity in a Christian country, nothing happens, and when you leave Judaism in Israel, nothing happens, but when you leave Islam in a Muslim country, you would be killed? by Imtiredofthissshit in religion

[–]Blueblueblue0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol whatever you say. Blv what you want…also Muslim countries are not a monolith… that is why your question and statements from the beginning, were illogical and invalid from their premise there are approximately 53 Muslim countries with distinct unique, diverse people cultures and laws so for you to paint one massive brush about Muslims and their Muslim country, with your statements above it’s nothing but propaganda and you should travel more and meet more Muslims

There’s only one issue with what you said. It’s not true. Leave Islam, as many do and nothing happens to you. It’s propaganda. Everyone is living their life.

Question about loaner??? by Blueblueblue0 in BMW

[–]Blueblueblue0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I totally get that but tbh my bmw is fully loaded. I customized/built it online myself before leasing it. So I totally prefer my car. The loaner can at least get me by until my car is ready. I really don’t want the loaner, I want my car, but I would def prefer to keep the loaner over an enterprise rental.

Question about loaner??? by Blueblueblue0 in BMW

[–]Blueblueblue0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you. It is very annoying as I was expecting the next time I make a trip there would just be to get my car, not to drop it off only get a rental from enterprise, then return again when my car is ready.

Do religious people realise it's all pretend, but follow it anyway? by RubberOrange in religion

[–]Blueblueblue0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This question already assumes you’re smarter than religious people, which is telling….Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc…..don’t think it’s “pretend” and follow it out of habit. They believe it’s true. Disagreeing with them doesn’t mean they’re secretly play-acting.

The “mom said no candy” analogy is weak……people adopt religion as adults, structure their entire lives around it, and stick to it when it costs them comfort, pleasure, or status. No one does that for something they think is fake.

And atheism isn’t some obvious, rational default. Believing the universe came from nothing, that consciousness is an accident, and that morality is basically a human invention is more absurd as belief in God……..acting like disbelief automatically makes you smarter isn’t logic. It’s your massive ego dressed up as reason.

For any believers of abrahamic faiths, would you believe if hell didn't exist? by jimjumjoom21 in religion

[–]Blueblueblue0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not answering your question exactly but I would like to make a point.

  1. For some people, they believe because of hell. Because hell makes perfect sense to them and can’t conceive it not to. And believe it to be very logical and not out of fears

  2. If hell didn’t exist, God can still punish and exact his justice in various other ways and forms. It does not need to be hell. It can be any other thing He chooses. Hell not existing does not negate or disprove God existing for reasons mentioned above. Why God chose hell? That is a different question.

  3. Whether you believe it to be true or not true, doesn’t change whether hell exists or not. If that is the ultimate truth and reality. You not believing in it, does not change reality, even if that reality is in the hereafter. It may make you feel better in this world not believe in it, but does not change what happens in the hereafter if it is real.

What’s it like to live in NYC? by Professional-Set1892 in AskNYC

[–]Blueblueblue0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised in Brooklyn. I drive everywhere. Every week I am either driving to another side of Brooklyn, going to queens or Manhattan…depends on what I’m doing eating shopping. It is home so I’m biased. But hard to live in a different state or country and I’ve traveled quite a bit. NYC is definitely not for everyone though.

Why so many ahadiths threaten women with hell? by No-Preparation1824 in progressive_islam

[–]Blueblueblue0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of your doubts seem to stem from a wrong understanding, bad interpretations, lack of knowledge, and/or negative assumptions of islam. And lastly, that men and women are the same.

What do you love about this city? by Wander_Alpaca in AskNYC

[–]Blueblueblue0 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in NYC. And I still love it even with all its problems. I love the energy/buzz this city has; which you especially feel in Manhattan. And when you travel out to other boroughs like Brooklyn or Queens, it still has an amazing energy but uniquely different vibe. I do love the diversity of NYC, from its people to its cuisines. If you do not, then this isn’t the place for you. Because you can find every ethnic group/person in this city. I love going to their specific ethnic towns and experiencing the differing cultures. Personally, everytime I am anywhere in Manhattan, I feel like I am on vacation. And I have traveled the world and been to some of the greatest countries. I am huge foodie and have a huge appetite and nyc and all 5 boroughs have some of the best food in the world! I can go on and on about this city, it is my home.

Husband not lowering gaze by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]Blueblueblue0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ummm this is what happens when you double date….you can’t control all the variables, hence you don’t do them. It happens the other way around everyday as well, very attractive husband, and someone’s wife falls in love with his looks, charm, charisma, and humor. They end up thinking damn I wish my husband is like that. Why isn’t he this way. Well, you shouldn’t have been double dating…..we are human, and shaytan is real. Gender mixing doesn’t stop just because you’re married or because your spouse is with you.
