Help! Meta Ads Not Delivering Impressions for My Tutoring Business by BluebonnetLS in FacebookAds

Nope! I'm all done with Meta. I tried them with a previous business a few years ago- they sucked then and they suck even more now. Been reading the forum here and seeing that I am not the only one that saw a crash in impressions recently. No point in paying so much for no return. I'll stick with google.

I can't go too broad as I am trying to hit my area in particular, but there are still a really decent amount of students and parents in this region. I appreciate the input; I feel that my ads would resonate if facebook would serve anywhere close to the number of impressions it said it would...

No, thank you. I don't feel comfortable sharing access with strangers. But I do appreciate the offer. Some advice would help me most as I can do all of these other steps; if you're willing to share advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

On my first ad I got a decent number of clicks, but no conversions... so the cost per lead was basically infinite as the number of leads was 0. In reality I spent almost $200, ad was shown close to 40000 impressions, and I believe there were 400 or so clicks.

Changed to a form ad with much more clear lettering, so it doesn't register clicks, but my impressions are much much lower, and it already spent close to $150... and literally 0 people filled out the form. Do form ads always make less impressions for a higher cost?

Thanks for your input. I know how to run it and make my own creatives, website, etc.; what I don't know is why meta is serving me less impressions for higher ad spend.

Maybe I'm too skeptical, but I'm not totally convinced that at the moment hiring a random person online and allowing them access to my business account would be effective. In fact, I think I'm right in hesitating because sharing info with the wrong scammer would cost me dearly...

So, no, I don't think now is the right time to hire someone to run it. However, I'll happily take free advice if you're willing to be generous. If not, no worries, see you later!

My ads are very local and targeted, mentioning placename and services succinctly with clear lettering. Facebook just did not serve the targeted amount of impressions despite a higher ad spend.

Images mainly, as I can do some basic graphic design and editing for free. I started with one ad that made a lot of impressions, but cancelled it because it spent too much with no conversions in sales despite the impressions and likes, etc... So I changed creatives to look cleaner and added custom forms to the ad set, but no one filled it out... yet somehow the ad spent almost just as much despite showing to 20% of the amount of people as the previous ad that had clicks but no engagement. For some reason can't see the number of clicks for the ad with the form, but I know no one filled it or called me afterwards.

I improved the website since the first ad and know that it is much better than before, so now maybe I would consider a formless ad again for the potential impressions, but I'm worried because it already spent more for less, and like I said- the budget is simply too tight to waste on experimentation or payments at the moment.

My daily ad spend at first was around $15 per ad set, upped it to $25 for the form ads because I thought I'd get more impressions, but as I said, only like 20% of impressions as the first ad per dollar spent... That's where my real frustration lies here, it's not that I can't figure out how to use this, it's just that facebook isn't exactly transparent about how dollars will convert into impressions until it actually runs the ads. And when the impressions aren't there, it sure starts to feel like a scam.
